Seems like you lot are treating this game like its being played away from home, sitting back, letting Villa have possession then hit them on the break

They've literally been doing this every game, bar the 2nd leg in CL. Moyes using "small club" tactics.

Still no one really looking for the ball deep, resorting to a lot of long balls. Although Carrick seems to be coming on so should fix that. Kagawa been really good

God forbid people support their club. The plane was pointless and stupid and just makes United fans look like spoilt little kids who can't handle a few defeats. I'm glad the fans in the stadium reacted the way they did, because it's how any fan should react to that sort of idiocy.

It's nothing to do with supporting the club.

Moyes is clearly doing nothing good for this club, and anyone that thinks he is doing anything better than abysmally has to qualify it with the most backward logic in the world blaming it on anyone but him.

The plane expressed a sentiment that most agreed with, thats not an uncontroversial statement in the slightest, yet by reacting by GIVING DAVID FUCKING MOYES A STANDING OVATION it doesn't look like that, it looks like he has people support.

It was utterly farcical, but for better or worse, those fans have just removed a shit load of pressure from Moyes.

But whatever, we've just beat some fodder again. So I guess everything is magically better.

And I am entirely uneasy with what supporting Moyes as a concept implies for my support of the players, or recently, Ferguson.

Everyone knows a lot of people aren't happy with the way this season has gone, and a lot of the decisions Moyes has made. Even Moyes knows that as he has to answer questions about it every bloody week. Like you said the plane wasn't highlighting anything new, everybody knows that a lot of our support want Moyes gone and therefore the plane stunt seems a bit pointless and just makes us fans look even more of a joke.

I'm not defending Moyes completely, because ideally I would like him to be gone too if im honest, I just hate the way some fans are going about it. I'm sure everybody enjoyed having a good laugh at the likes of Chelsea, City and Liverpool fans with their revolving door of managers in recent years. Now after only 8 months our fans are beginning to act the same and there's just a depressing inevitability about that that bothers me.

If he hadn't been appointed by Fergie, and we didn't have this 'tradition of backing our managers' that people who haven't even been alive without Ferguson as the manager seem intent on upholding to the detriment of the club, Moyes would have been gone before Christmas.
