Anyway onto the game, I've made a solid start to the league campaign, winning six out of six, including an undeserved win away to Porto while so far we've made it two out of two in the Champions League group stages - beating Basel and Copenhagen.

Like I said in my career thread, I got really lucky in the draw and avoided all the big dogs. A lot easier to get places if you're drawn against Legia, Genk and Lazio than if I had ended up with a Chelsea or Juventus.

However, the end of season review was not all that good and my 2 year contract was not renewed. So in essence I was sacked. Therefore with deductions, I am out after 2 seasons with 90 points.
Enjoyed this challenge, hoping I can fare better on the next leg of this tour. Had never played in Portugal before this challenge and am enjoying it so if another team picks me up then I will carry on in Portugal.

I can't believe how lucky I got in the Champions League this season, Manchester United with their 30 attempts on goal (can't remember how many they had on target) shouldn't have beaten us in the semi finals, especially when we were second best in both legs. We won't retain the crown though, we got lucky.

I think this is my first post on this forum, I used to came here for tips and tricks for my own careers.
I'm not a real pro like you guys here, but i want to give it a try.

Just a quick note that after finishing the 3rd season, I got offered the Barcelona job after Gerardo Martino was sacked after they finished 7th (!) in the league the previous season.
It's not about doing fantastic and winning everything, it's about having fun and a little competition with everyone. I am far from what I would consider 'a pro' at FM, and I have averaged around 300 hrs on each game since FM07 and Championship Manager years ago.
Also, your English is great!
