plus the fact that none of the domestic games were re-arranged whenever international games would roll around. I had 6 or 7 first-teamers out on international duty every few games and it was infuriating.

Yeah that really bugs me too. I've just started my third season and for the first game of the season I was given the option of asking to postpone my match due to international call-ups. It was accepted.

Great turn around in your 2nd Round Champions League game DanW19. Coming back from a 3-1 home defeat is impressive. Also, do you happen to know what logo pack you are using? All your team logos look nice & glossy!

I hate the Australian league wage budgets.

Is there anywhere you can actually see your current wage budget? I couldn't find where the actual allowed amount was displayed, only my overall weekly wage spend which included marquee players & youth players.

BOT Brad I just meant the salary cap that we have to live by for the season. All my players want contract renewals which will make me unable to register all my squad.

Yeah that's what I was talking about, but I couldn't find anywhere which said what the cap was, or how far under it I was. I agree, I had to go through the last season with just 17 players because a few decent regens I had wanted bigger contracts.

So that's my second season finished in Australia. Here's how I did.

A-League: Winners = 25 points

Wanderers FC: 3 wins (3-0, 3-2, 2-0) = 9 points

Total: 25+10+10+6+9+50=110 points

Some good seasons so far, I'm going to struggle to beat anyone. I think what has cost me was not qualifying for the Champions League in my first season as the 2nd season is the only chance to have to go through the entire tournament in time.

In my 3rd season and I'm struggling for numbers. Everyone wants a pay rise so I'm finding it hard to stay in the salary cap. I've had to release so many players.

1st season total - 48 points

Harry Kewell was either injured or trump, so didn't win anything

Overall a pretty poor total, inability to beat Western Sydney is a problem. On to the 2nd season!!

Yeah I had quite a few players unavailable...

Had to play three greyed out fake players, with another three on the bench. One of them actually scored but unsurprisingly, I lost.

And not even an option to postpone the game? Ridiculous.

I've made a decent start to my second season in charge of Heart as we're sitting top of the table after nine games but we've only scored thirteen goals so we're not entertaining.

Finished my 3rd season now, and another successful season!

Points are as followed:

League: Winners = 25 points
Finals: Winners = 10 points
Champions League = Quarter Finals (couldn't go further) = 10 points

Sydney FC: 3 wins (1-0, 1-0, 3-1) = 9 points
Wanderers FC: 2 wins (1-0, 2-1) = 6 points

Points for 3rd season = 25+10+10+15+9+6=75

Yeah, I had 2 really good youth players after my 1st season (Shane Pickering who scored a lot of goals in my last 2 seasons, and Theo Dunn a centre-half), both of whom were first-team regulars pretty much straight away. Had another decent youth player in my final season too but he got injured in a youth game and missed the rest of the season.

Have finished my 1st season and I have no idea how I am still in a job.. hopefully the wins in my last 2 games will keep me for next season where I must improve the defence as you can see the amount of goals I conceded was ridiculous need some new defenders Hoffman and Nuno Gomes did really well and scored goals! Despite that awful run I was only 2 wins off the play offs shows how close this league is. But I finished rock bottom my home form was the worst in the league my away form wasn't bad but too many goals conceded and shit home form has nearly got me sacked.

So completed my first season, and a mixed bag. Slow start to the year, but once I got the team playing to my tactics they went on a run which saw us go from 8th to 1st in the space of 3 games. Stayed there until the end of the season, and came top of the league.

League 25, plus loss in major semi final which is 2, so 27 in total for League campaign
