Mike Dean is such a joke. And I am not talking just about the calls that he didn't give Chelsea, throughout the whole game he didn't give calls, cards and penalties. We could have had 5 penalties, with 2 being absolute must gives, bit guess what, Mike Dean doesn't see that. Ramires should have been sent off for the elbow on Larrson although Larrson should have been off for pushing him while he was jumping to score a goal, with no one in goal.

Seriously, how can the FA not do something about games like these? This is probably the worst season when it comes to referees, and no, I am not just talking about Chelsea games. The FA really need to assess what referees they have and start thinking how they are going to change it.

Lose > blame ref. They've a tough job to do. Cut them some slack. Teams can't keep deflecting the blame to ref's if they lose.

Really don't understand why people would want to be a ref anyway. All you get is abuse. Poor guys

Sunderland deserve a lot of credit for getting 4 points from Chelsea and City in 3 days. No one expected that

Awful decision but Chelsea weren't very good anyway.

Newcastle were appalling again, par for the course.

I was almost sad Chelsea lost today because I really don't want Liverpool to win the league but after seeing Ramires' elbow, Rui Faria's tantrum and Mourinho's post-match comments I changed my mind. Great result for Sunderland - would like to think that awful penalty decision is karma for Ramires' dive against West Brom to save Mourinho's record a few months back.

Here's hoping City push Liverpool all the way.

If you don't think Mourinho is a massive cunt then you're probably one yourself, or you're a Chelsea fan. Which to be fair, if you're the latter then you're most likely the former.

It wasn't even close to a penalty in real time. You could literally park a car in between the gap of the two players. Though Dave shouldn't have gone to ground to begin with. What really fucking shits me is we had a penalty denied for a handball that was clear as day, and he turns around and gives that, fuck off. Dean is an absolute nut sack. He was terrible all game.

Ramires should have been sent, as should have Cattermole. He should have been given a yellow earlier in the game for blatantly kicking the ball away, then the challenge he was booked for later on should have been his second yellow. Altidore should have also been booked for throwing the ball away, again, neither player was spoken to at all and instead with the Altidore situation he has a fucking word with Cahill.

All that fuckery aside, we were awful. Oscar once again was woeful and why he's even selected these days is beyond me, Ramires the same. It was also Dave's worst game for the club, skinned a few times and gave away the ball in some terrible positions, which ultimately resulted in the penalty. We're too reliant on Hazard beating a man to create anything decent. We need to move the ball faster through the midfield and utilise the pace we have out wide more often than we do. We shoot ourselves in the foot slowing the pace of the game down and trying to force the ball through the middle.

That's it for us though I dare say, not unless Liverpool drop points at Norwich and we then beat them. Goal now should be to lock down second place and then progress into CL final.

Edit: Spelling.

Villa coaches suspended? Or someone not in the Prem. Reddit reckons Forest.

We'll never hear about this again anyway

This first handball was a clear penalty, the second one wasn't. And in fact, you could even argue that the challenge on Ramires in the box when he had his seemingly free header into an open net could have been considered also. Since there was absolutely no ball contact at all and was basically a shove to put Ramires off, which was successfully done.

Have such a horrible feeling about todays game, even though we've had a great season i'm still in the mentality of the past 5 years where we'd just completely fuck up and embarrass ourselves

I know but its not really possible to prosecute everyone who may have taken drugs in the past. It seems like it will be impossible to prove.

In fairness I re-read the article and saw the club rang the police.

Also the article says 'major' rather than 'Premier League' so its probably a Championship club, and tbh I've always assumed a reasonable proportion of Championship players are on drugs. They look the type.

Does seem abit off that Villa suspend two coaches the week before this news comes out though, could well be a coincidence though of course.
