So far, all of 2 goals

Like last week it seems Saturday has the dud games.

It was worse, Cleverley's first yellow was soft as fuck too.

That was the nature of the game. Mike Dean was booking players left, right and centre.

Also, I'd just like to point out van Persie's sickening challenge on Bacary Sagna - both Wilshere and Cleverley made late tackles but neither made as as forceful and as dangerous as that. If Sagna's leg had been planted it could have snapped in two.

Sunderland 0:1 Villa - shit.
Swansea 0:1 Chelsea - shame.
Tottenham 0:1 Wigan
Fulham 1:1 Everton - Fellaini is back.

True, but all I'm asking for is a bit of consistency. Wilshere's challenge for the second yellow was no worse as Cleverley's on him. Both should have been sent off. I'm not using that as an excuse because we were awful today but it's still annoying.

Nah. You got consistency.

Both players made bad tackles on yellow cards, both could have walked. Both were given a final warning, Cleverley was subbed off, Wilshere wasn't and made a third bad tackle.

How can you have forgotten that already?

I haven't. Wilshere deserved his red, but I felt Cleverley could have walked as well - regardless of Wilshere's challenge beforehand.

It doesn't matter anyway - Wilshere deserved his red and we would have lost anyway.

Yeah, but why complain?

I mean if Wilshere had been sent off for his second foul and Cleverley not then fair enough.

But I don't think you can have any grounds for genuine complaint when he dealt with both players identically.

FUCK OFF MOYES, I have THREE maybe FOUR distinct memories from down the years (only remember against one opposition, Man City) where he has took an attacker off with about 5 minutes to go for a defender and conceded. IF IT'S NOT BROKE, DON'T FIX IT YOU GINGER CUNT.

AND NEVILLE CAN FUCK OFF TOO, HE RUNS LIKE A FAT KID WHO HAS HAD HIS SHOE LACES TIED TOGETHER BEFORE P.E. Gave away the FK that let to the first goal. He really is about 5minutes behind everything, fucking liability.

Despite the awful performance/result earlier, it's been comforting to see Chelsea, City, Everton and Spurs all drop points as well.

Urgh, anyone watched the Chelsea game? Had to go somewhere so missed it! This is the point where I get mad that we had points stolen against United...

LOL

If Di Matteo hadn't played most of your first team midweek you probably would've won today.

I know... 70% of the blame is us. He needs to learn how to rotate the team. Something similar to what he did last year at the end of the season...

Decent article on referees from The Guardian...
http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/blog/2012/nov/03/stick-up-men-in-middle
The ending sums it up nicely
The bigger point, however, is that the persecution complex is never attractive in any walk of life. Referees make mistakes and sometimes they can have damaging consequences. Sometimes it might come in a cluster and compound the sense of grievance and, when that happens, a manager is probably entitled to the occasional blow-out. But can we not just accept it for what it is – human error – rather than insinuating there is something more to it?

I know it is a human mistake. Everything I said about United paying them, Referees United and all that was just the heat of the moment...

Although I am still half and half to whether there should be replays.

Mark Hughes is a terrible manager. They would have been better sticking with Warnock.
