30-40 is way to low, youd be riding on the rim. 120 is a little high too, id reccomend 100 for general riding

120 is what's recommended on the thing itself.

Depends on rider weight really, the heavier you are the higher PSI you'll need (upto the max) i tend to run around 100-110 just because i'm a skinny fucker and don't really need the top end

Anywho, ordering this beaut next month:

Yeah 120 sounds high for commutes though, lower psi tends to puncture a bit less. That bike is very shiny, especially the bar tape

Its just the photo that makes the frame look shiny, its a matte finish really. That bar tape is minging as well, first thing i changed on the bike builder

Just watched Orica-GreenEDGE's last Backstage Pass from the Giro, so good Met Dan Jones and a few of the Orica boys at the Tour last year, top lads.

Wiggins hasn't been selected to ride the tour this year. Wondering now if he'll stay with Sky next year, find a new team or go back to the track

Shane Sutton is pretty convinced that he'll stay, even going as far as saying that he would be 'mad' to leave. Surprising, because after his Tour of California win I was certain he would make the team. Everything went downhill from then and was a shame to see him pull out of the Tour of Switzerland after the crash. He won the British TT national title yesterday too.

Strong looking team nonetheless, some awesome climbers but Porte's lack of form this year will be a worry I'd imagine?

Bernhard Eisel (Aut), Chris Froome (GB), Vasil Kiryienka (Blr), David Lopez (Spa), Mikel Nieve (Spa), Danny Pate (USA), Richie Porte (Aus), Geraint Thomas (GB), Xabier Zandio (Spa).

Thor Hushovd announced his retirement at the end of this year yesterday.

World cycling champion, winner of 10 individual TdF stages, winner of the green jersey 2 times in TdF just to name some of his achievements.

Truly one of Norway's greatest sportsmen of all time and has definitely played a huge part in the increasing interest for the sport of cycling in Norway.

Will never forget this win.

He looked good at the Dauphine until he crashed. Contador is looking especially good and he'll have a strong team in Rodgers, Roche, Kruziger etc.

Can you bet on people to finish in the top ten, five etc? Adam Yates would be a decent bet to finish in the top ten, if he's leader of Orica.

Im hoping for a good Tour, loved Contador attacking at Dauphine. Last years Tour was a bit boring in that respect. This ones shaping a good one, with a fair few attacking riders in it.

Yates looks good, top 10 maybe, not sure on top 3. No experience of riding a grand tour and not sure how hell cope with big mountain stages but looking forward to seeing him

Bit weird that Team Sky, for a team with a focus on British riders, are only taking two of them to the Tour.

Would Tiernan-Locke have gone if not for the doping cloud?

Yates isn't going to the Tour, probably wont ride a GT till next year at the earliest as well.

As for JTL i doubt he would have gone if he were available, especially based on his first season with Sky.

No David Millar at the Tour either now after Garmin have pulled him from the squad would have been his last Tour as well which sucks.

Wont be seeing this again from him like i did last year on the Champs

Simon Yates is in. Targeting the medium mountain stages. Would have thought Adam would have been selected but he's done a lot of racing lately so they said Simon was fresher

I'm not usually that intrested in cycling, but I'm looking forward to today, many of the places they are going through were parts of our big walk last year which will be nice to bring back some good memories.
