Transfer deal of the window for us. Spent a few bob on him but my best scouts tell me he is one of the next big things to come out of Portugal so went after him. Benfica were disappointed to lose him.

Still can't seem to beat Porto, they also knocked us out of one of the cups on penalties. Bad times. However made lightwork of the Champions League group and ended in second place.
Good gap of 5 points which we need to build on.

He's leaving with blessing, he's patient but I felt that there was no point in keeping when he wasn't making any real appearances for the club.

Managed to tie down this long term target off the free agents market. Scouts rate him highly as do the coaching staff, there is potential there so it is up to us to get it out of him.

He's unhappy but when he's been given his chance he's rarely taken it. He has had a moan, I have told him he's a backup member. He's had a paddy. Likely to be sold in the summer.

Happy with another cup victory. Brilliant to carry on the legacy at the club. But in reality there is one trophy that is eluding us and that is the Champions League trophy.

Good lot of green's there. Played marvellous all season and Porto have not been able to live with us in the league. However the test of the Champions League is just around the corner. Atletico will be tough in the second leg with our slight advantage. Game on then.

How the table ended up. We suffered a defeat on the final day of the season to Porto ... bad times.
1-1 = Good enough for the Final ... can we win it on the second time of calling or choke at the last second ... stay tuned sports fans ...
