So kids we left the story on a non cliffhanger so I thought I let you know the state of play ...



Been a pretty solid start with the only defeat coming against Bayern. Highlight was beating Porto in a thriller.



Have a 4 point gap, uncharted territory for these lads, can they hold on ... stay tuned ...

Singing the top two, the rest will probably leave. Good but not good enough sadly.

Pretty bog standard of wins. Slipped up against Porto at home. It cost us our first place position. However and subsequently, Porto drew a game or two and therefore dropped position. Great news for us. All for us to lose. In the Champions league we saw off Legia and got drawn against the might of Juventus. We sneaked a cheeky win right at the end of the game to take an advantage to the second leg. It will be tough and I don't see us going there and beating them if I am at all honest.



If Porto win their next game we are still a point ahead. Ours to lose.

Some great form mate! Very close at the top but you have the advantage! Good work in getting past Legia and the first leg win over Juve!

Hope Porto slips up! Tough draw against Juventus, Hope you can nick it.

I predict a porto and academica CL Final! its yours to lose buddy!

It was not to be ... outplayed and outclassed. There's another gap we have to breach if we want to play with the big boys. We have to many hangers on in the club and this summer I will look to get rid of them.

Comes down to the last game of the season. It is in our hands, if we can't win it now, psychologically it could potentially damage lot of the squad.

We did it ... Champions. Broken the 7 year Porto domination of the league. But the challenge has only just begun.

Last piece of silverware for the season. Nice to round it off. Lot of good things have happened this season, we must build on it for next season.

Man City took home the spoils. Was an incredible Champions League run. We will be back next season and hopefully we can compete that little bit more.

Fantastic work on a domestic double! And breaking Porto's dominance! Unlucky in the champions league a very tough game!

Times are a changing in Portugal I think. Porto failed their Financial Fair play remit and therefore miss out. They overspent last season to cope with the pressure from us. Looks like it is down to us next season in Europe then.

So overachievers and stole the awards. Not bad lads, not bad.



Buy the stadium to upgrade it. Good stuff.

Be rude not to sign a new deal.

Bit of a sad one this, was with me from the off in Denmark where he was instrumental in my small success there. Brought him to Portugal where in his first season he played a pivotal role. Sadly his second season he fell away and eventually he was sent on loan. An offer came in and I couldn't refuse the money.



Great coup for the club. Really pleased with this, not only is he a quality player but he also qualifies as a home grown player.

Been offered an interview after Real Madrid parted company with Carlo Ancelotti. Have taken the interview to see what is in on offer. I am to far down the line with Academica to move. I have set myself a little challenge here and I would like to try and accomplish that in Portugal. If an offer came from Real again I would take it but I am quite happy with life in Portugal.

Not to disappointed but what did worry me is that I promised them a good value for money deal and yet some random manager who has won nothing at Liverpool has gotten the job over me. Not to worry mind, Project Acedemica back on full force.

Just caught up with all of this, you're doing a cracking job at Academica and i'm glad that Madrid didn't want you (yet)

IVIarrow - Cheers man. I'm very happy not to get the job at Real. Not a job for me at the moment. Got a job to do at Academica first.



Balls. He's out for 4-5 months. Hopefully he will be back.
