As Sport Witness say, the club couldn't really say Vidal is available to buy on the same day as announcing a new manager who the fans are pissed off about being appointed. Conflicting reports still, English press seem to think it's not happening whereas most others think it will.

And as Ninja said, to say there has been no contact at all is clearly incorrect.

Did he have anything to do with transfers? I though Berlusconi and Galliani would be responsible for the vast majority of transfers.

He had some input but it waa those two that had final say. It was also Allegri's choice to push Pirlo to the left of the midfield to make room for a defensive player in the centre and try to convert an average midfielder like Constant into a terrible fullback, then keep playing him...

The true situation seems to be United made contact, Juve said something along the lines of he wasn't for sale or he's not available for less than €50m and that was pretty much it.

Speaking of Allegri he's not highly rated because he's an average tactician and horrific man manager, give him a decent team with the dressing room leaders on side like 2010/11 Milan and he'll do fine

And even then they produced an absolutely dire performance when it mattered in the defeat at home to Spurs, they were so bad, especially first half. That's despite having players like Ibrahimovic.

I've got a serious worry that Allegri is going to absolutely ruin what Conte has built. Apparently Evra is reconsidering his move to Juventus too. And I'm genuinely worried about what will become of Pirlo, given Allegri was the sole reason he left Milan.

A poor transfer window thus far and a second rate coach isn't a solid start to the season.

Kroos has gone to Real Madrid. I reckon that probably means its only a matter of time before Khedira goes to Arsenal. But I think Khedira was one of the players that actually got on with Mourinho at Madrid, so maybe Chelsea could be in with a shout.

Will it though? Kroos and Khedira tend to work well together, if they are ever put out at the same time. I see them almost like I see how the US use Jermaine Jones and Michael Bradley. Though I do admit the Real Madrid midfield is pretty full at the moment.

I would actually beg for Arsenal once we get a back-up GK & Cb sorted that we go all in for King Arturo. Pretty please.

Why do I get the feeling that move is going to backfire? He's been shite at Man United for most of the last few seasons.

You know what QPR are like, he'll be getting paid a fortune. Expectations on him will be low as they're probably gonna be involved in a relegation scrap regardless. Perfect move for him on a personal level, and for QPR? well I hate them and 'Arry so I'm not at all fussed.

He was awful last season but great in 2012/13. I think he'll be found out at QPR though.

£100,000 a week I think is the figure quoted.

QPR really haven't learned from their spending big on old duffers policy in 2012/13 have they?

Harry Redknapp is one of the biggest cunts in football. Cannot stand him.

After we just lost Carrick for 10 weeks if we don't get another midfielder I'll be very pissed.

Surely he's only worth half that?

Must be something about Liverpool and large transfer fees.

14m for Borini to Sunderland?

They've had their pants torn down.

Mourinho claims Fabregas first choice was Chelsea.

Even though he came out publicly and stated that he rang Wenger first who was honest to him and said there was no space for him in the team.

Good god is there a more odious fuckcunt than Mourinho in football?

Report is Remy is replacing him at Liverpool for £8M

Not a bad deal. Even if QPR are wankers for making us pay double in case we wanted to buy him.

And this is the sort of reaction he tries to provoke.

This is simply classic Jose looking to ruffle a few feathers at Arsenal before the season starts, more so after making a good signing in Sanchez.

He's probably easily my most hated person in football. He talks complete shit nonstop and it's labelled as 'mind games'. I would rather have Ian Holloway in charge of my club than that cunt.

No you wouldn't.

There is a method behind his madness, so to speak. He doesn't talk shit for the sake of it and knows exactly what he's trying to achieve. People get sucked in far too much with what Mourinho says. That's entirely what it's all about though, because the attention gets diverted elsewhere and removes some of the outside pressure of the media from the club and players.

It has been a large part of his success. And as long as he's able to continuously back it up with success, it will be something he'll continue to implement.
