So winning the Europa League has begun some kind of hunt for me. A.C. Milan are calling but at this stage it is not something I fancy doing.

My work with Academica saw them become the top club in Europe. Monaco bashed them in the QF stages this year 7-1 on aggregate.
But more pleasing is Anderlehct's rise. Good news this.

Transfer season and a bit of wheeling and dealing on the first day of the window.
In comes Japanese centre back Seki. Been scouted thoroughly since the January window closed. Will be looking to replace one of the clubs first choice centre backs as one of them will probably leave due to transfer interest.
Signed on a free last season. Had massive impact but when £12 million is thrown at your face it is hard to turn down.
Sold is backup striker Mota. Won't feature for us so lets make some money.

The two center backs bailed us out of this one. Genk were by far the more dominant team but if you don't take your chances then you won't get the results that you want. Another Supercup victory.

How the Champions League group has worked out for us. It is not as bad as a group as it could have been. Monaco are clearly a strong side for this group. Parma could be tough if they turn up and the same goes for the free spending Wisla. All in all. It is going to be a tasty campaign in Europe with Anderlecht.

Heartbreak on penalties. What a game. Many opportunities for both sides to see it off in normal time but credit to the keepers they ensured the game would go the distance. Sadly despite us twice taking the lead, we only managed to lose concentration for Barcelona to slip right in and equalise. They won the game on penalties and the rest will be history. Great show from the lads mind.

A tough decision this. This guy has been outstanding for us since I signed him on a free. But when a club like Barcelona comes calling, it would be tough to keep the player. I presume the bid came in because of his decent performance against them in the Supercup. We make a healthy £20million profit on him. The search now comes before the window closes to replace him.

That being said my hiatus is over, went out and bought a brand spanking new desktop just for FM today, going to play FM12 until the FM15 release for a bit of fun, then go nuts with the pentagon when the fun starts in November. Great to see you dan itchycoo and george14brfc as fm susie staff now!!! All four of you still going strong.

laudrup_11 - Never forget the Victory! Good to hear the return is almost near. Be good to have the godfather of the Pentagon back. Supercup is tough, Barca are class as you would expect. We did amazingly well to compete as far.
This is how the transfer window played out. I'm aiming to buy in cheap and sell big. That is what happened with Alvigini and that is the aim for the club. The club passes the financial fair play with ease but as we are now debt free after paying off the loans it is now about putting the club back onto a sound financial footing.

First game in the Champions League with Anderlecht. 7-4 game thriller. Could have gone a lot worse. Concede 7 is bad. We just lost concentration. Monaco's spending power is in full force and they are starting to make inroads in Europe.

Game against Wisla broke our gate takings. Fantastic work and obviously great to see the income coming in.

Sad to say that long serving left back Jetro Willems is leaving. He has not featured this season and is unlikely to. Best option for him and the club is to move on. Fans should understand, but then again they have kicked off in the past. Who knows.

Finally moved into the new stadium. 52,556 seater stadium named after former player Grzegorz Krychowiak. Time to get this stadium filled.

Not expanding the club's footing into Argentinian football. Be great to get youngsters over to the club and blood them through our system.
Our first thing to do was to scout and sign this youngster from River. Think I got a good bargain for £1.9m.

Game against Monaco sees us breaking the club attendance record. Only a week before we broke it in the league. We therefore took taking of £1.4million and broke again the club record takings at the gate.
