What Was The Last Film You Saw?

Watched 'In Time' the other day and thought it was brilliant! First time I've seen it.

Yesterday I went and watched 'What we did on our holiday" funny in parts, good film!

Gone Girl is excellent, Fincher on the ball again. Rosamund Pike is outrageously good.

So should I skip '71 and watch Gone Girl when I head to the cinema tomorrow?

Gone Girl

I read the book last week and thought it awesome so was hoping for good things. Much as I preferred the novel, the film was an entertainingly psychotic pantomime, which worked. Agreed with Rosamund Pike being a great show stealer.

Edge of Tomorrow.

Groundhog Day with aliens, something as surprising as a summer blockbuster that's a genuinely good film.

I liked it. It was just Groundhog Day with the Matrix aliens and played almost like a video game, but it was really good, and certainly better than the dour Oblivion was.

It's done well tbf, but it's far from a smash hit.

Got a week off now and basically going to be watching films. Want to do a few marathons but can't think of any except the obvious Star Wars, HP, LOTR and such. Any suggestions

I still can't justify paying good money for a seat where countless others have sat at over the years, in a room where none of the conditions are under your control, to watch one film.

Oh right, the film - Dracula Untold, not bad, but I suppose my taste should be discounted given the number of movies I've properly watched in the past couple of year.
