Whoever runs the Leeds Twitter feed is going to find himself very unpopular with the fans. I mean fucking hell.
K3V0
I must have refreshed the United website a million times today.

Apparently Alan Smith was duped by a fake Guilleme Balague account.

I honestly think the 2 Ferns will start to partner up a lot more, with Yaya pushed up. Especially after Yaya's shitty start to the season (he's getting to be even more of a defensive liability). I think Jovetic was trying to hard the first few games to impress, which meant a lot of passes just didn't come off, hopefully he can settle. If (massive if) Aguero stays fit, Negredo will not be missed at all
Delighted Nastasic is still there
K3V0
Glad to hear.
Under Moyes I could see us letting Welbeck go because we were going to sign Falcao only for it to never happen.
I'd dare say that wouldn't happen under LVG.
Slashman X
Saw that, "Watch this space", *sell 2 strikers*, "And we're done"
Sam
Dammit Alan Smith, don't do that to me.
Ninja
All an elaborate troll, never interested in Falcao. Just hired a guy in a wig to stop City getting Falcao and then sabotaged Arsenal with a non-existant Welbeck deal.
Sam
I want to go to sleep, just announce it already.
bluemoon.
Aye, I can see how it might work, I'm just not sure it will. The fact we lose Yaya to the the Cup of Nations in January (along with Lampard) makes me think we might be a bit too stretched. It's worth noting that we've also just got rid of the two most qualified backups for that period as well in Huws and Zuculini.
K3V0
Fellaini so?
Slashman X
I thought Zuculini was back in January? Lined up perfectly with the ACON (and Lampard leaving) wasn't it?
I'm also pretty sure Pellegrini thinks Demichelis can play in midfield if needed (not entirely sure he's right). We also have Navas and Milner (Kolarov will play left wing too I think) for a less 'creative' and more stretched midfield if needed

Gotta get some use out of him. Sure as shit isn't going to be on the pitch.
We could probably hire him out for childrens birthdays as well.
bluemoon.
Nope. Whole season loan-deal. This is kind of my point, we have options but, when you start talking about Demichelis and Kolarov playing in midfield, they aren't really good enough.
Hopefully we're just saving our pennies for a massive spend next summer on Pogba etc.
K3V0
I actually feel sorry for Fellaini at this stage.
Slashman X
My bad, initial rumour was probably January. Kolarov is pretty awesome on the wing though in fairness. With the 2 Ferns we have an exceptional defensive base, especially with Kompany and Mangala backing them up. Yaya has to go further forward imo.
The last minute Negredo deal has me convinced we're saving for someone special
Ninja
I do too, then I see him play and he reminds me why I can't stand him.
It's not so much that he's a bad player but just that he's a colossal cunt, making up for his lack of skill by trying to elbow people in the face. I think he's too immobile to make it here, but we'll see.
Sam
Ninja
Spot on.
Look at how that cunt Shawcross brutally assaulted Fellaini's forehead, elbow, and fist within the space of 30 minutes.

K3V0
Take a miracle for him to make an impact at Old Trafford. He isn't a good passer of the ball, a dribbler or even a hard tackling midfielder. There's not a quality he's got that makes you think he'll be good enough.
K3V0
Shawcross should have been banned for diving so many times in the one game.

At least with us he'll be getting regular game time in his best position. Didn't seem to ever get that at United in recent seasons.
Ninja
It's a good career move for him. He'll do well I think and probably prove me right in one of the million debates I had with VP/Poe along the lines of 'Welbeck isn't shite'. He's got the talent to succeed and he did well centrally for us. Good fit for you in terms of the style of player as well, if Walcott and Özil complimented each other then Welbeck's going to add another level onto that. And you've got him somehow at a bargain price.
But I can't wish him well, we should never be selling to you and if his goals fire you to the Champion's League at our expense its one of the worse decisions of all time. So now I'm hoping that a player I like and left for completely understandable reasons flops because we dropped a bollock. It's horrible.
We're also left with an untested, although admittedly talented, 18 year old in Wilson as a back up option now. So if the RVP rumours are true we're one injury away from being in the realm of uncertainty.
Leaves a bad taste in the mouth.

Radamel Falcao's season long loan move to Man United will cost them £4m more than Arsenal paid for Danny Welbeck #mufc #afc
Why do they include Falcao's wages, but not Welbeck's?
Telegram Sam
Given that we blocked the Vermaelen move to United and have now gone and gotten one of your fans' favourite players it certainly feels good to get one over on you for once - obviously not on the same level as taking van Persie and winning the Premier League but it's still satisfying.
He's going to get lots of chances in our first-team and honestly if he finish relatively well he'll score a shit load for us. Once Giroud is back we actually look to have some decent options up front, finally.
BR.
What would you value him at, Ninja?
