We've given Paul Lambert a new four year deal. Admittedly we've had a good start in the league but it seems like a bit of a over reaction to give him a new contract based on four league games and a cup defeat to Leyton Orient.

If he can continue our current form and finish within the top ten I'll happy take my sentiments back, however the steaming pile of shit that has been our last couple of seasons under him and the feeling that this good start is merely the calm before a storm continue to linger.

I thought he climbed too at first but Ferdinand or other QPR players didn't really complain about it. They should have done more to stop Moses' cross in, knowing Crouch was in there.

Villa shouldn't have been in such a rush to give Lambert that new deal, as Rick87 says at the top of this page.

No goals in the other games but Bony has been sent off or Swansea.

He was never going to be starting though even without Sturridge, he's the player you bring on if everything else isn't working. Think people are overly harsh on Borini tbh, he's not going to score you tons of goals but he offers more than Lambert especially when he starts games.
