Argh, our defensive set pieces suck as per usual, giving Bulgaria the opportunity to equalise after completely dominating the 1st half. /o\

Iceland 2-0 up vs the Netherlands!

Glad Josh King did well the other day although he is making noises about wanting to leave us. How is he doing tonight?

That red card was deserved, not a very nice challenge at all.

Yeah on first look I was wondering what was that for? But then when watching the replay I agree.

He's said he will consider his options if he doesn't get to play regularly come January, which is quite understandable. Been very lively for us the last couple of games (England, Italy and Malta) - went off with what looked like a pulled back muscle in the 60th minute or so tonight though. Created some problems for the Bulgarian defence but had quite quiet night all in all. Think he's better off as a striker than on the left wing btw.

We pulled off a 2-1 win in the end thankfully. 15-year-old wonder kid Martin Ødegaard made his debut too. Captain Skjelbred and Stefan Johansen best on the field.

Amazing result.

Now I'm hoping Ireland can do the same against Germany tomorrow night. #probablynohope

Are Germany the minnows in the game?

I'm hoping we can pull off some sort of result in Greece tonight but it's not going to be easy. I'd take a draw.

JAMIE FUCKING WARD!
KYLE FUCKING LAFFERTY!

What an absolute sensational result tonight for us, winning 2-0 in Greece and for the first time ever, Northern Ireland have won their opening three qualifying games which is awesome but still a long way to go before I can decide to book flights for France in 2016 but we'll just enjoy the result tonight first.

The Germany/Poland/Scotland/ROI group is looking really impressive. Will at least be something to liven up this process.

What a fucking result that was.

Perfect that Poland and Scotland drew as well.

Wales, Northern Ireland and Iceland all topping their groups. Surely we'll get to see at least one of those teams in the Euro's? As for Northern Ireland, they should be able to get at least a play off spot in what has to be a historically weak group.

Great results for Ireland, Northern Ireland and Scotland - fair to say I'm far more interested in their groups (especially Group D with Ireland, Scotland, Germany and Poland as Number 1 says) than England's.

Forgot about Wales too last night, good result but tough game away to Belgium next.

This is turning into a typical Scotland campaign.

We get it up and running with a win over Georgia, then Poland go and beat Germany to fuck it up.

We get a very good draw in Poland, then Ireland go and get an equaliser against Germany.

Why can't Ireland and Poland just lose like they're supposed to and let Germany win the group and Scotland take 2nd?

So England, Scotland, Wales, NI and ROI all managed to get a win or a draw in both games they played in this international break, with no losses between them. Has that ever happened before?

UEFA have confirmed both countries will now be subject to disciplinary cases.

The Serbian fan who hit an Albanian forward with a chair and then got tackled to the ground by the Albanian captain is perhaps the complete basketcase.

This is probably going to be the subject of UEFA's investigation but where the fuck did the drone come from and who was flying it?

Pictures of Serbian police searching Albanian players belongings have been posted.

Wonder what punishments they'll both receive. Not sure why Uefa would not allow Spain and Gibraltar to be in the same group but allow Serbia and Albania. Suppose if you start doing that then where do you draw the line.

Its probably going to lead to escalation in UEFA's rules of fixture segregation before it gets really out of control. Having said that, maybe the political stuff would explain why Albania's last game with Serbia was in the 1960s, and certainly, with Kosovo's independence still being something Serbia won't recognise, it hardly meant this game would be all hunky dory.

Cos Spain playing Gibraltar would mean recognising them as an official state.

Kolarov was fucking awesome during the events last night. Protected the Albanian players as best he could and gave out to the Serbian fans on the pitch
