Depressing times.

Of course Venky's know little about football - if they did, they would have known £5M was not a budget for a top 4 team and they would've sacked Kean at any point until the start of this pre-season or better yet, not appointed him in the first place. His management of them in the Premiership was a fucking joke and they should have not been relegated.
But it seems faintly bizarre that they are currently in the top three (top two if Blackpool lose), just two points from his supposed target and still not good enough.
Wouldn't be too surprising if he still took training despite the setback of being sacked, mind...

Was actually surprised when I saw his name popping up as most of the people thought it be either Richard Money, Henning Berg or McIlroy. I think it's a bit of a meh signing, a play-off final with Leeds and Sheffield United does not sound bad at all, bags loads of experience and worked with small budgets. Anyway, we need to get behind Blackwell to turn this shit around. Season starts again.

Finally the nightmare is over.

Hopefully, you can get an actual manager now.

Regardless of how inept Venky's are, we couldn't move forward with that pissed up prick standing on the sidelines pretending he's manager.

Venky's can't crap out again with their appointments again can they?

Just bought my ticket for City vs Leeds .

Our options going forward have some frightening pace. Vaughan, Beckford, Scannell, Hammill, Ward... The back 4 probably still can't cope with pace running at it, but it's been years since we had genuinely frightening pace going forward.

Looking forward to our game at Stevenage today. First game under the new manager so there's hope for some fresh impulses and hopefully we'll start picking up results from now on

Few interesting games today, Cardiff-Blackpool especially, could go either way. 'mon Rovers at Charlton!

No. We're not good enough. Basic target needs to be to stay up, and being in the top half would cap off a tremendous season. Today showed why: four or five players off the pace, against a technically proficient side, and we struggled. Battered them for ten minutes, then they got the ball down and played. We had better chances, but they used the ball better and were clinical in front of goal when they got their chances. Hopefully it's just a blip.
Will watch their penalty again before making comment.

Didn't expect much there, Eastleigh are good and have spent a shit load of money for a BSS side.
Started well but starting to look like the same old side from last season.
