Falcao is absolute muck.

Ignoring his reputation before he arrived and focusing solely on what he's done in a United shirt he's up there with the worst thats played for us in the last 10 years.

His miss was awful yesterday, but he's not shit. Recovering from a major injury, not immensely confident and he's being asked to drop deep and link up, he's not being played to his strengths. We're not going to buy him, too much money, we'll keep RVP.

The way we're playing in general is so worrying, so so poor. We've got such great attacking talent, but they're restricted by LvG's system, so slow. I can't believe how shit we've made Di Maria too.

I've yet to see Utd actually play decent football under Van Gaal that wasn't against the worst QPR side I've ever seen

The best I remember us playing is the first half against Spurs. The second half though we were utter toilet.

He is though, forget the fact that he's reputation is that of a world class forward and judge him on what you've seen this season.

He works hard and he has good movement, thats it. If his name was Danny Welbeck rather than Radamal Falcao he'd get pilloried every week for how badly he's playing. He's been abysmal, there's no point blaming it on 'systems' or anything like that, when a player who you're paying £300,000 a week on is routinely missing sitters the problems are personal not systematic. At least RVP can control the ball and bring others in, Falcao's first touch is so bad that his second is a tackle.

I don't think Di Maria is doing that badly though. New to the league, he's struggling with the physicality (and its never nice to see a player pull out of challenges and not contest 50/50s) but we pretty much only look good going forward when he's on the ball. He's struggling with the shite in front of him.

So.. Van Gaal is no longer the saviour?

He's doing alright, he's just getting hate because we don't win every game 10-0 and because he's not playing a fan favourite and the Rooney in midfield madness.

He's spent a fortune on players that to me don't fit the system he wants to play which is why they only really look dangerous when the ball is hit long to Fellaini. I see a stat a few weeks back where Utd had already hit the most long balls in the league and i'd imagine nothing has changed there. Now it doesn't matter how you play as long as you're getting results but for the money spent and the attacking players available you'd expect a lot more and he just isn't getting the team to produce the kind of performances they should be, imo.

And have played 4000 more passes than them. 2nd to City in the League in terms of possession and total passes, 4th in the leage in terms of short passses.

We clearly use Fellaini as a Plan B, but the high long pass stat is mostly crossfield balls switching play, Rooney alone is probably responsible for half of those.

I hate all this "Kane is an Arsenal fan LOL" bullshit - who gives a fuck?

He's playing for Spurs now and scored a brace against us at the weekend. If we had a ex-Spurs fan scoring goals in the derby for us I wouldn't give a shit who he supported as a boy.

Tim Sherwood is an Arsenal fan and apparently Bale, Defoe and Harry Redknapp followed Arsenal when they were younger as well. Never bothered me one bit. Actually it made me like them even more when I saw them do well or score in the derby games.

Or if you're Sol Campbell whose Spurs through & through and left to join us on a free to win as many League titles as Spurs have in their history within 4 years. That's pretty good.

Wait a minute, you're basically making one excuse for one player and not applying it to the other, who's in the exact same position. Both are new to the league, both are being paid an absolute packet and both haven't delivered up to what was expected. Di Maria started well but that's about all he's done since. He's probably been the more disappointing of the two, considering he was actually purchased and more or less had a starting birth locked in.

I see what he's saying though, Di Maria may be struggling physically hence his lack of performance but it's quite clear to see Falcao isn't struggling physically.

Your last sentence is completely ridiculous too.

If Di Maria was an Arsenal player there'd be an article on the Telegraph on how he's "Nicking a living" or on TalkSport where he's "Not worth a penny" ala Mesut Özil.

Sam Allardyce claimed himself that Man Utd were launching long balls only when Fellaini came on and that was the bit that West Ham couldn't handle.

Van Gaal is making himself out to be a bit of an idiot here.

TV rights have been confirmed. 126 games will be shown on Sky and the rest on BT in a deal worth just over £5.13billion.

As if football wasn't full of cash enough already.
