Apparently Drogba has played more games than Costa this season. So much for being the backup striker!

Hopefully next year will have a more open title race.

He's an absolute prick. Stayed the same all season.

Lol. Jumping on the generic boring bandwagon I see.
We've played some excellent football, particularly the first half of the season. However, since the new year we've dipped in form and still managed to grind out results and pick up the required points to extend our lead at the top once more. All this while we've effectively had to rely on a 37 year old Drogba for the run in, and used so few players that fatigue has crept in with some players resulting in form dips. That's the mark of a good side, winning when you don't play well. No doubt there's room for improvement on the style front at times but I'd rather see us play some average football here and there and win the league, than be all style and no substance.

It was taking the piss from when we were winning most games under Graham with 1-0 scorelines, Chelsea haven't been really exciting since Cesc had his usual dip of form after Christmas & Costa got injured.

When a team is as well drilled & compact as Jose's teams are then it's hard to put on an exciting performance against them tbh.

That, and everybody else has been shit this season. It's what most people said when we won the league in 2013.
Flash.
They deserve to win it, but they have been pretty boring.

Yeah - as noted, the title race has been boring. Chelsea have been top since day one and the nearest challenger was probably Swansea in the first 3 weeks before Chelsea beat them at Stamford Bridge. Had Arsenal started their winning run a month or so earlier and kept it going, it might've been more interesting, but nobody's really come close.
Everyone has their own verdict on the entertainment quality of Chelsea, and I certainly think the boring boring tag has been exaggerated, but everyone else has failed to give them a more involving challenge.

Stoke for example got ten times more from TV rights than matchday income. Man Utd and Arsenal are the only clubs where matchday income is in the same ball park as Commerical income and TV rights.
