Our game isn't being replayed. Decision on 14 May. If, in that light, we aren't awarded the points it will be absolutely staggering. Ideally we should have been made to replay or complete, but as that option's been ruled out and we're the 'injured' party, we should be awarded all the points. And the league table is going to look weird until then with two sides on P45 rather than 46.

Where did you hear that? Would've thought whilst the FA panel gathered to discuss whether this is replayed they'd finally come to some sort of decision on the text-gate scandal too. Guess they're afraid of the Oyston legal team too!

Personally couldn't care less what they decide to do in regards to the abandonment. Probably the only time I'll be in agreement with Oyston in Huddersfield being awarded the 3 points and no replay. KOKO won't want to pay the players appearance fees or ground expenses to open an extra day, even if it was behind closed doors! The match itself is irrelevant imo.

Verdict announced yonder: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/32582510

Seems a bit absurd to wait 10 days for a verdict but who cares.

I doubt either side could get a team together at this stage - all loans will have gone back, players will be on holiday, and no one would want to risk an injury at this point. Had they acted quickly and called a crisis meeting on the day, we might have been able to have played on the Sunday evening or Monday afternoon, but it's taken 2 days just to get them to announce when they'll make a decision! I actually seriously doubt whether we'll be awarded the points and think the decision they'll come to will just punish yourselves.

Anyway, we've sorted out the retained list. Only Gobern, Miller and Holmes from the first team have been offered deals. Stead, Paterson, Carroll and Carr go with best wishes. Gerrard leaves having been told to fuck off by most Town fans after getting pretty much everyone's backs up while out of the team. Pleased to see the back of the tit.

Well, we all knew was going to happen: Lee Clark resigns as Blackpool manager. Not before signing a winger from Blyth that the new manager will probably have no interest in. I guess he finally realised the empty promise about the training facilities being upgraded which has led on so many of our ex-managers! Not sad to see him go, just despair at the calibre of manager desperate enough to take us on!

KOKO will of course use this as an excuse for everything over the summer, from player recruitment to pre-season organisation and the pitch being cheaply patched up.

I'm shitting bricks for the future of my club.

Think Plymouth had hard luck tonight.

First half was all Plymouth, had lots of possession but lacked the final ball (Mellor especially). Goals conceded were unlucky. First one was just poor defending after a corner, second one was obviously a handball for the assist and the third one just after the start of the second half almost broke their neck. Zak Ansah's goal was class but the got lucky there, when one of the Wycombe players (thought it was Yennaris?) slipped and couldn't close Ansah down and the 2-3 keeps them pretty much in the tie.

Still fancy Wycombe though.

Our fans were fucking brilliant last night, watching it back on the TV you didn't get a sense of it really. Even at 3-0 down we sung our hearts out in support. The ref had a nightmare but then so did we. Three set pieces leading to three goals, the third we just switched off. If a stronger ref had taken charge of the game (this was only this ref's first season as a football league referee) then I think the outcome may have been different; Wycombe were very good at time wasting by going down soft and staying down, and then there was the obvious handball. I think we've got a good chance on Thursday, we've beaten them 2-0 at their place this season already and the momentum is with us now. Fair play to the Wycombe fans who came down though (Didn't sell out their allocation though), they were very noisy, and apparently it came across on TV as them being louder than us, although I blame Sky's mic placement for that

Plus I got on to TV so I'm famous.

McGahey won't make it at the Blades, though.

Well not under Clough anyway.
