I am with three, but can get a simcard with T-mobile over there for like 10 euro, plus another 10 euro for 1gb internet. Which part would I get ripped of at the airport for, aren't starter pack prices set?

Doesn't Three let you use your plan abroad? If there's a Three in Germany then it's just like you're at home

Naah, not from what I know, you mean the feel at home thing? Germany isn't included in that no.

Most likely will get a Euro pass for the first day, just to whatsapp and stuff to get to my accommodation, then I can get a sim once I get there

Isn't E-Plus part of it? Maybe it's different, but I could've sworn it worked for me when I was in Germany.

Nvm, you're right, there is no "Three Like Home" thingy for that link

Yeah, for the three feel like home thing, does it literally not cost anything extra? Currently have unlimited data, so could go say to Spain and use this?

Yep, it just acts like you're at home so whatever plan you have still counts. It's amazing. Free texts, unlimited data all for nothing while abroad

I highly doubt KEVO has seen too much of the outside life in Dublin however he could probably give you good hospital advice!

Awesome. Expensive (similar to Scandanavia though) but awesome. If you like pubs then there's no better place to live. You thinking of Dublin city or the suburbs? I grew up in the suburbs but basically live in the city now

Where abouts do you live now? My wife's sister lives in Phibsboro' & pays 600 euros a month to live in a room/bedsit/houseshare thing.

Drumcondra, next to Phibsboro really. 3 of us pay €1550 for a grand aul house. I pay €575 a month for a pretty big room. You can get places cheaper though obviously

But at least you are living with your mates, I'm guessing. They are sharing with all sorts, and have no say on when heating etc is on. Spend half their time at the moment in a coat indoors!

Alright.

Since I fucked up my exam I'm thinking about taking a job in Dublin. I'd be paid fuck-all though, so I'm not sure it is worth it.

About €1300 per month. And it was some suburb outside of Dublin, close to some horse racing course.

Punchestown? That'd be in Kildare. 1,300 a month wouldn't be too bad, out there you could get a room for about 350 a month for a "high-end" style place

Ah, yeah Foxrock is expensive. Although it'd be own the Luas line so you could live anywhere on that, but that's the more expensive line

The Swedish job market sucks, the best I could hope for here is to stack shelves in a supermarket, because I'm sure as fuck not going back to being a salesman.

Plus, working abroad would be a good experience.

I'm surprised that a Swede can have better job prospects than those in Ireland tbh.

What job is it anyway?

Jobs in tech support and the like are often outsourced to countries where the work employment laws are more favourable than the absolutely ridiculous laws we have in Sweden, Ireland is one of those countries. These businesses still need Swedish employees though, because they need people who can speak Swedish.
