One of them, definitely one of the worst. I think Saratoga is up there too, massive turning point in the Revolutionary War which lead to France entering it and siding with the US.

Had to postpone my week off work due to heavy workload, so pissed.

Results day! Only taken a month to get these bloody MRI results! Hoping theres a definite answer today and its something they can do rather than being told 'just rest the ankle' you can't ever really rest it, especially whilst working in fitness.

I went to the doctors yesterday about my ankle, sprained it 4 1/2 months ago and then went over on it twice within a couple of weeks, it just gave way. Its been a nightmare ever since, pain, discomfort, instability.

He told me basically, give it another couple of months. Fucks me off, I cant do anything, even breaking into a light jog isnt possible. Makes chasing round a toddler very difficult.

Yeah I done mine back in September, damaged the ligaments/tendons, took a few weeks off work as I couldn't walk etc, rested it up, didn't return to sport until February, five months later and it still wasn't right, so left it again it just doesn't seem better, honestly don't think its just a strained tendon anymore, kind hope its not just so I get that answer! My physio did say he thought it was worn cartiladge from my ankle meaning I could be looking at a cartiladge replacement!

But its annoying when they say 'yeah its this, or this, all we can do for you is give you these pain killers and you've got to rest it' You can't really rest an ankle if your working, walking, driving all the time.

I've never even heard of it. - No one really cares about the Pacific Theatre over here. WW2 is pretty much exclusively focused on Hitler, Battle of Britain, Occupied Europe etc.

MRI results showed only an old ligament injury but nothing of recent, the DR has said they won't open it up as it looks a healthy ankle apart from the pain, little annoying. However the next step is apparently steroid injections straight into the ankle joint which will leave be off work for 2 days at a time to see if its the pain nerves inside!

I remember my old high school was pretty good when it came to sports, I went to school with someone that used to play for Crystal Palace in the Premier League. If I remember correctly someone that played in the 2007 Rugby World Cup final also went to the same school, although that was like 10 years before I started going there. Think his name was Dan Hipkiss.
