The pen looked on point from my point of view but looking at it again I'd have to say you're right
Having said that, the ref was horrible indeed but I wouldn't call us dirty based on the yellow cards being shown. The ref clearly loved himself and wanted to be the centre of the universe and was happy enough to book half the players on the pitch. Clearly just lost all control and he was horrible for both of us I think but that's what you get when you're in this division

Brilliant! Now only us and Rotherham who've yet to win this season. Dark, dark times.

I wish they did. I'm not expecting highlights for every game but maybe goals from all games, highlights from a few of the bigger games and a short discussion about teams, players and coaches in between each game. I've only missed two or three games this season so far and I still don't know who we're playing, who manages them or 2/3rds of their starting lineup. Bit of insight wouldn't go a miss.
What's the Sky Sports one? What time's that on?

Who do you have at the weekend? You're due a bit of luck.
We have Bolton - and a cracking chance of turning a very poor start into a half-decent one. Sounds like Powell decided to go for it last night, and it paid dividends. Bit of luck with the two goals (some fantastic comedy goalkeeping on the first and an awful wall - but a great placed free-kick - for the second), but sounds like we deserved it. And we haven't had the breaks up to now, so a nice change. Reading some comments from Charlton fans who say we should have had more and bullied them. Of course, we didn't capitalise and made it interesting, but we won, and that's the main thing.
BR.
Charlton at home actually haha, so they'll have played our teams and Rotherham in their last three games (and hopefully only come out of it with a point!).
We have QPR away tonight though.

But in the second half we came out and hammered them. 4-1 ended up flattering Bolton, because they just weren't in the game in the second half. Carayol got his man one on one, skipped inside and fired in to put us ahead, Huws got his second of the game bursting into the box to get on the end of a great move, and Lynch scored a cracker on the turn after dispossessing their lad on the edge of the box.
Lennon will moan our third goal had a handball by Miller in the build-up, and he'll be right. But he'll neglect to mention the penalty we should have had at 2-1, and the fact that their lad who was sent off in stoppage time for a second booking should have gone about 25 minutes before for what looked a professional foul on Miller (it was certainly a case of him dragging Miller down when he looked like getting away, and the lad was already on a booking - if it wasn't a straight red, it was a certain second yellow which the ref failed to produce).
Highly satisfying stuff. Roll on Thursday and Nottingham Forest.

One Night In Grimsby
Torquay manager resigned yesterday, lots of unrest there supposedly and not a lot of cash, so no surprise they got pumped today.
Sam
Yeah, things are really shit at Torquay.
Thea Bristow stepped down the end of last season, so the money is gone. The new consortium sacked Hargreaves, disbanded the youth system and has no money. The money the club did have they wasted on a new stand a few years ago, plus the club is being sued by ex-staff members for wrongful dismissal and if they lose all those cases the club will fold. The manager resigned yesterday, probably due to Halifax interested and that his promised budget didn't arrive due to the problems.
Decision making has been baffling in recent years, the sacking of Martin Ling (who took time off due to depression) and replacing him with Alan Knill who was shit when caretaker was pathetic - he then took the club down to the Conference. Since then it's been downhill.
It's a huge mess, couldn't believe the result today. Biggest home defeat since 8-1 against Scunthorpe in 1995. It would be horrible to see them fold but it's not looking good.

A load of Argyle fans are going up to Plainmoor on Tuesday to support them and give them some extra cash. An online forum has already raised £500 to help out.
Sam
That's brilliant.
Vercoe
Really hope Torquay pull through.

Looking forward to going to your place gfnx25. Only you men and Bradford away in October so hopefully we'll be top of the league by November 1st if we keep this home form up. Assuming we beat Oldham away next week that is but I can't see any other outcome.
gfnx25
Isn't that just going to their supporters trust? I know a donation site for the suuporters trust is up and I know their supporters trust have a large interest in buying Plainmoor and they don't want to work with the board at Torquay if I'm not mistaken.
Vercoe
Correct, I should've been more precise. From what I understand the fans/fans' trust don't think the current board are interested in the club or are fit to run it.
It all seems a very big mess.

Your chairmans comment at the start of the season didn't help the team really, maybe they felt pressured.
Its a really open league, this season compared with recent years.
