I was having a pub lunch and overheard it was 1-0 City, left and after I got off the train and was walking home I saw it finished 4-1 Spurs. Fucking love it.

EDIT: Nice one Wazza. Falling into the ball.

Glad for him, seriously needs the confidence.

Top of the league.

He scored, that's all that matters. Nearly missing an open goal is better than any of your lot can do though.

And in some way will mention Wenger in the meltdown too.

They were a bit different in fairness. City's was marginally off, both of Spurs' were about a yard off. I'm not trying to deflect from the fact we were shit or anything, but that's a pretty dodgy comparison.
Dele Alli impressed me, despite being pretty dirty in the second half, he looked surprisingly comfortable given he's moved from League One to the Premier League in one summer.

I'm not comparing them, just pointing out that both teams had an equal share of luck. I've seen plenty of City fans elsewhere moaning about 2 of our goals coming from offside while forgetting they had one of their own and should've been down to 10 men.
Dele Alli has been awesome so far this season, I'd have him in there starting with Dier regularly now. I don't mind the dirtiness to be honest, its about time we had a central midfielder that likes to get stuck in, he kind of reminds me a bit of Gerrard.

By standing offside...... It was awful play, he should of cost his side the chance of a goal.
You're complaining about Demichellis not being sent off, surely because he wasn't it was therefore great defensive play?

bluemoon.
Yeah, this is my point, it's a false equivalence. Both teams were on the receiving end of poor decisions but they weren't equal and they didn't cancel each other out.
I wouldn't really expect you to mind the dirtiness tbh
It wasn't particularly reckless and it seemed generally to help Spurs, that's what you want. I was just impressed by the maturity/confidence, I assumed he'd be taking a while to adapt to a higher level but he seems to have settled right in.
bmg033
Yeah it was bad positioning, he was offside and the goal shouldn't have stood, but the linesman missed it. Obviously he shouldn't be standing there but as a Spurs fan I really couldn't give a shit because we scored a goal. That's all that matters to me, we did something and got a goal.
No, it was just a poor decision from the ref. Why would the ref not sending someone off mean its great defensive play?
bmg033
I'm just fed up of having central midfielders that are all pussies. Paulinho for example, bottled it pretty much every time he went in for a 50-50. Alli has been a breath of fresh air with his tackling and box to box running.

Tbf it was at least an improvement on the hideous double against Watford and Sheffield Wednesday reserves. Although I've only seen MOTD highlights.

It was much improved, although Chelsea were really bad.
Seemed to have a lot more purpose and strategy when we play a much better team. Perez had his first good game in ages, Mitrovic was excellent and Mbabu is quite possibly the worlds greatest player.
