Tyrion Lannister
its always annoyed me. I have just opened a light blue bag of crisps from Sainsbury's thinking I had picked up a bag of salt & vinegar and it turned out to be cheese & onion!
don't get me wrong, I like a bag of cheese & onion, but my taste buds were prepared for the tart taste of some vinegar and they were sorely disappointed.
green was the colour of their salt & vinegar which arguably is the same colour as Walkers so I can see their reasoning.
but why green? and for that matter why blue? prawn cocktail seems to be an all round pink colour and I can see why on that one as it is pink in its meal form but green for salt or cheese? no that's not right.
here are my suggestions for flavours in a colour coordinated way-
prawn cocktail- pink (obviously)
ready salted- white (why is it always red???)
cheese & onion- yellow (a pale yellow)
salt & vinegar- pale brown (vinegar related)
beefy crisps- dark brown
Worcester sauce- oh shit, I used brown...er.. purple maybe?
chilli flavour- red
bacon- dark red
cheese- yellow
chicken- brown
pickled onion- a favourite of mine but I am struggling for a colour...

ok, cheese & onion- green
salt & vinegar- blue
id be willing to compromise on those two as long as they were uniformed throughout the crisp flavourings.

im gunna have to think about this...

Doritos muddy the debate too. Orange for cheese and blue for original?
