I'm 100% sure I'm getting my name or password right. I tried on phone and also on Chrome and Opera on PC and it doesn't work. I also spoke with another user (ArturM) he also has trouble logging in on a new browser it only works on one he is logged in all the time and doesn't log out.

Rob, could you add the user name and avatar back to the left side bar. I occasionally have to check some of my older posts and right now there's no easy way to go to my public profile to see my previous posts. In the old skin there used to be my user name with the avatar, which offered the much needed quick link to my own profile. Now I have to find one of my posts so I can click my username to get into my public profile. Or make it possible some other way if you removed those on purpose and don't want to add them back. I can't be the only person on the site to miss that feature. Thanks!

Good to hear. Have you checked what's wrong with the subscription notifications yet? It doesn't send any mail if you are subscribed for a thread or content. That's my most used feature on the site and I loved how it worked on the old site after the changed you made after my suggestion back in time. I do get mails if someone send me a private message though.

I know you're advertising, but surely there's a way to get rid of that shit red bar at the bottom of the screen. It's unbearable.

I agree. I had to block the bar with adblock since it's was so annoying.

Thanks for the tip, didn't know I could manually remove items via Adblock.

It's really not that different from last time? The only "new" thing is the activity feed on the right.

If you can tell us what is un-necessary that would be very helpful.

There was an x on the red bar at the bottom ...

Personally I like the activity feed, you don't have to scroll over it if you don't want to use it like.

But when you press the 'X' at the bottom of the screen it just takes you back to the top of the page and the bar stays there.

Yeah, the cross is useless. Adblock ftw.

Just saying the Recent Activity is ugly, if people wanted to use it there is a recent activity option on the top left anyways. Can a show/hide toggle be introduced?

Also, what's the deal with the "Last Active" date? Seems a bit random.

Whilst I'm at it, can anyone help with my Multiquote problem?

Red cross shouldn't be useless. Perhaps empty your cache? Works fine for me, i'll need more info on browser and potential javascript blocking plugins if you're really having a problem.

Activity feed, is it permanently there? That's only on large screens. Otherwise' it's a hover job. I guess a setting could be added for that.

Multiquote, not sure what's going on there, it's on my list of things to look at.

Last active you're right that's not working. Can't believe nobody has mentioned that yet.

Meh, Adblock sorted the red bar. I'm using Chrome though, cos I hate my RAM.

It is permanently there for me as a fat, grey, unwanted sidebar. Resolution is 1920 x1080.

P.S. It is probably due to the high volume of traffic to the site rather than the new design but this site is getting really slow in responsiveness. Even just timed out

Yeah, it's partly down to traffic, plus all the extra features we have on the site now, such as searching the fm database, building the data update etc. CPUs have been at 100% all weekend. Should hopefully be better now
