Leicester and Arsenal will be delighted this weekend with so many teams around them not taking full points/any points!

Now just to wait till the evening when the Man United fans come back out claiming us Liverpool fans want Klopp out! :L :L :L

Dunno if you checked the table but we're second behind Leicester who are gonna come down with the Christmas decorations.

It's a two horse race between us and City, still think they will pip it.

It's not a two horse race muppet, you drew with Norwich last week, City lost to Stoke this week. It's as open as ever.

Strange season this. Chelsea and Liverpool the worst side we've faced. Leicester and Watford the best.

Klopp got is spectacularly wrong as well. Allen and Lucas with Milner ahead of them is very static. Firmino looked uninterested but he surely should have had Lallana in from the start to move the ball quicker.

Because what?

You and City are going to pull away?

The only team good enough to do that are City, and only if they keep players fit, which is a huge if.

It's absolutely anyones.

It's naive to believe that the top clubs will keep dropping points throughout the season as frequently as they are now. City are getting their major players back now & if we can keep close to them by the time January comes then I honestly think it's a two horse race.

Only team outside of us two is United but I've seen nothing to convince me that they have the quality required to win the League.

Yeah true, your annual mid season collapse is coming

Our collapse is usually in November. That's the month we've gained the least amount of points on average every season in the Prem.

Thankfully for us everyone else were just as wank, so it's looking quite decent for us really.

All of it of course depends on Arsene's activity in January. He's incredibly stubborn, but he's not stupid. Could be his last chance to win the Prem.

I mean, given your injuries, I think you'll do well to stay in touch over that period let alone pull away. Even when City's players 'come back' the problem is they don't stay fit. If they do, they'll walk it.

I don't think any team really impresses me, we've all got problems.

One of us is going to win the league, yeah, but I think we're probably a better side than all the moaning would suggest. I'd say we're the most consistent, probably, in that you know we're going to dominate the ball and you know we're going to be pretty solid at the back. We're unbeaten in normal time since the start of October and have conceded virtually nothing in that time, too. If we can get our attack firing I think we'll probably win the league, but thats a bigger if than City keeping their players fit. That said, they can hardly be any worse than over the past month.

The lack of creativity & firepower is a real concern for United. Majority of the problem being Wayne Rooney but he's never going to be dropped. Doesn't help that the only other striker you have is Martial who hasn't scored in god knows how long.

Apart from Leicester I think the two most impressive are us and City. We look so poor at the back since Coquelin's injury which is why I said just to keep up with City until January then hopefully we can add a couple of players (Nolito & William Carvalho/Ruben Neves plz), get Wilshere back, and try and push on.

City are absolutely dreadful on their off days and there'll be more off them and don't give me the injuries excuse, every team has got them.

Definitely.

The rumours are that Rooney's 'injury' is actually him having been dropped, don't know if theres truth to it, but its certainly floating around.

I wouldn't really say Martial's a problem -certainly not the main one-, he's still our most dangerous player, the problem with him is that he's being probably more tightly marked than anyone I can remember playing for us, even in the days of Ronaldo teams couldn't put as many players on him as they do on Martial caus we had other players that would hurt teams. We don't have that at the minute, you can quadruple mark Martial and no one else will step up. He's 20 at the end of the day, the senior players can't rely on him to win us games.

We need more from Mata, who's been dire since September, and even then was more productive than good, we need more from Memphis (who's shown a bit in the past weeks), and we probably need players in January. I'm not convinced its a system issue rather than a personnel issue, because the players tasked with creating and scoring really aren't playing well.
