World class finish.

Aye we aren't doing well, Oxlade has been useless apart from a couple of runs on the break, damn near broke Ayoze as well.

Finally a win.

He does all this in a shit attacking side, imagine how amazing he'd be in a good attacking side. We're lucky to have him.

First priority is getting players who can actually defend, the Defoe goal should never have happened, four Villa players within a few yards of the throw in which set it up and not one of them reacted. We could sign Messi, Ronaldo and Jesus in this window but it won't do any good with how shit we are.

What a shame

What did he say? I stick with the Final Score lot on the BBC rather than the Sky news team on Saturdays (though it does occasionally mean having to put up with Chris Sutton).

His best impression of a geezer with Alzheimers by saying the same thing every 5 minutes offering 0 insight as to what's happening
Mainly:
- "These are the type of games Arsenal will look back on if they win the title"
- "Koscielny is the best CB in the League" (True tbf)
- "Theo Walcott for me is better on the right as he won't have to check his run"
Said them three statements about 30 times
Whilst of course I'm hopeful of a miracle, realistically I think we should start selling and releasing the big wages and deadwood (most of the squad) in this transfer window in order to allow us to rebuild for a serious push for immediate promotion back to the Prem next season. Hopefully Lerner can sell the club finally, hopefully the rest of the clowns on the board with him.
Such a sad state of affairs to see the Villa in such dire straights.

I was looking through the players on your books and you still have Senderos! Being payed to do bugger all as he isn't even in the 25 man squad! I guess he is best friends with Kozak who has done bugger all at the club since joining and breaking his leg? Joe Cole is on your wage bill, though plying his trade at League 1 Coventry City...must be the best payed player in that division? I could go on...Kieran Richardson for example. I didn't realise how many players Villa actually had! Majority of them are not Premier League quality and the reserves almost reads out like a list of players who had a brief spell in the spotlight and then faded into nothing. It's shocking. No wonder your owner is looking to sell, he's just watching his money go to a bunch of sofa warmers for upwards of £20k a week! Even I'd stay at home and watch Bargain Hunt for that kind of money. The title probably sums up Villa's transfer policy for the next (and past) few seasons too.

Missed the game (seem to be sinning on that front) but bit of a crying shame, this latest one - on another day we would have won, and we perhaps should've. Maybe last season when Arsenal had less secure GK's we could well have taken the points... we desperately need to get rewards ASAP though. Maybe the still-unconvincing MUFC could work.

Kind of fear the likes of Barcelona or Madrid will take notice over the next 18-24 months if he continues in that vein.
