- 20m euros last summer (£15m)
- 30m euros July 2016 (£23m)
- 10m euros for reaching 25 goals for United (£7.7m)
- 10m euros for reaching 25 French caps (£7.7m)
- 10m euros for reaching nominated for the Ballon D'Or (the 30 list?) (£7.7m)
£61.1m altogether providing he hits the clauses, which he probably will. Jesus Christ.

What a greedy cunt
Still, more the merrier til the summer.
Hope it doesn't effect the transfers in that we need (LB, ST, RW)

I heard it was more they wouldn't match the £60k a week he is on now?
Byram has signed for West Ham over Everton, probably the right choice as he is more likely to start games there I think. West Ham also rumoured to be after Sturridge?! One injured ex-Liverpool striker isn't enough, they want another!
Sam
Pato and Falcao. Imagine if it was 2011.
Grimnir
Don't think it's a great signing tbh.
Pedro already wants to leave Chelsea, supposedly

Oh come on haha

Who's the Senegalese forward?

We're another 50-60m away from a top half team, and we're in dire need of a goalscorer to ensure we stay in the division.
For the record I think 14m on Townsend is too much - but I can see the logic in spending 18-20m on Berahino. And I'm baffled why we wouldnt - I'm especially baffled why we wouldn't buy Charlie Austin for 4m though - although there's no sell on value

http://talksport.com/football/premier-league-clubs-ranked-net-spend-last-five-summer-transfer-windows-150903165355?p=8 - Apparently we have the fifth highest net spend in the past five summer windows? cba to find a better link. Do you really think clubs like Palace, WBA, Watford have been consistently outspending Newcastle over the past five years?
Why do people think the decision to only buy Vurnon Anita in 2012 is relevant now?
And the rumours aren't even particularly negative today. One is no one is quite sure if WBA are willing to sell and at what price, and the other is Newcastle are frustrated with Spurs. (The other rumour is that the clubs are getting closer)
Apparently Austin asked for 80k/pw so either that, worries over his knee or the club just don't rate him. And remind me again why a 26 year old Englishman who signed for £4m doesn't have resale value?

We still need more - even moreso if Gouffran, Marveaux and some of the other deadwood are removed as desired. Its been a step in the right direction, but we still need the players who can get us secured in the Premier League, and hopefully in a position where we can not endure apocalyptically terrible form at the start of next season. Again.

Hmm.

Tbf we've done that before. Still sounds shit though, particularly as Peterborough losing Washington does open the door for SUFC a little bit.
Apparently if Colback is injured or kept in CM, Lascelles at left-back is the option mooted, which given his previous efforts there is asking for trouble. Its either that or throwing the now-fit again Steven Taylor back in at the deep end.

I like how unimpressed with his life choices he looks in the photo.
Shola
Absolutely irresponsible not having a 4th choice left back.
Not like in our last two games we played against real full backs like Ashley Young and James Tomkins.

Carroll.
Poe
Aye, be more than happy to sell one of them and buy a better one.
Same with Taylor and we still don't have a back up right back.

Then again Yanga-Mbiwa was signed to replace Coloccini, and wound up being superceded by the same player, so who knows.
