Try to talk with the players and say you can improve the performances, maybe it'll work out!
I did before our next game which was a bottom of the table clash against Stranraer, a game we had to win!
The team meeting worked, just about, a narrow one nil win against Stranraer boosts us back up Airdrie and into eighth thanks to a solo goal from Morris in injury time.
A seven goal thriller against Elgin City ended with us taking the spoils in this four three victory to record back to back wins and what a time to do it. We were behind in the first minute before Smith equalised in the second minute, the game was off to a flyer. Mckenna and Morris then netted sending us three one up. Two goals either side of the break for Elgin saw them level things up before McKenna sent us to the three points with his second of the game twenty five minutes from time.
Normally, a point against league leader Montrose would leave me very happy, however I'm disappointed here as we blew a two goal lead. McKenna and Morris again the scorers, sending us two nil up in sixteen minutes, however goals in the fifty seventh and eighty sixth minute saw the league leaders snatch a point back.
Again we blew a two goal lead here, this time away at Cowdenbeath, however we never gave up and stole all three points late on. McKenna and Lavery had us two up at the break. However goals in the fiftieth and eightieth minute saw the host level. Lavery struck two minutes from time to steal the show.
We pick up another vital three points, this time away at Forfar as we made it three wins in our last five league games on the road. Allan Smith netted the only goal of the game two minutes after the interval.
Superb time to hit a bit of form and go on a five game unbeaten run!
We make it six unbeaten however this should of been another win as we dominated the stats against Peterhead. We were behind nine minutes before the break. Lavery brought us level on the fifty third minute however we just couldn't finish the job off.
Our unbeaten run has come to an end as league leaders Brechin beat us two one at home. We fell behind in the twenty seventh minute and trailed at the break. Second half Davidson brought us level only for us to fall behind nineteen minutes from time.
And so I've bossed through my three months once again, a slow start which picked up and now sees us eight points clear from the rock bottom place and and ninth place Airdrie as well. Shedender has just got to get us safe now as it seems we've turned our form.
Indeed, but unfortunately the club aren't completely safe from relegation.
Not the most ideal result against playoff contenders Ayr, going down 2-0 on the road. Pretty sure we won't finish bottom of the table but we still need to avoid getting into the relegation/promotion playoff spot.
Another league defeat, our eighteenth of the campaign saw us suffer a two one defeat away to Airdrie and that's now three consecutive league defeats - Allan Smith scored our goal on thirty nine minutes but this has been a frustrating and inconsistent campaign to say the least.
I don't know how we done it, but we done it nonetheless and it's now important we build on that. Darren Lavery's eighteenth goal of the league season means we have survived relegation and will be a League One club next season and I really didn't think it was possible when we hit that dreadful form earlier in the campaign.
We've finished the league season and it's an eighth place finish for Berwick and I suppose we should be satisfied with survival but truth be told, it was not just a frustrating campaign but an inconsistent once as well. In our thirty six League One games we won twelve, drew four and lost nineteen times which needs to be bettered next season if we're to have a more successful campaign.
Who's joining League 1 next season would be good to see a "bigger" team down there
Dunfermline have been relegated, but haven't sacked their manager . . . yet.
It's time for Dean Ashton to go on his latest coaching course, and if/when he's successful then he'll have his National A Licence. Once again it'll take around four months of study before he can complete the course and Berwick will once again pay the six hundred pounds to cover the course.
Declan Hughes has become the first summer signing for the club as the central midfielder has joined from fellow League One side Cowdenbeath were he made just two appearances last season for the Blue Brazil - he'll provide rotation.
I feel we've been lacking one thing and that's an out and out striker so I've completed the signing of Scott McLean from Kilmarnock after he agreed a pre-contract with ourselves. Has yet to make a senior appearance but that'll change this season.
And the final signing, to date, has seen Michael Dunlop become the second player to join from Cowdenbeath in which he was a regular in his one and only season for them, making twenty nine appearances. Dunlop's got experience at League One level, also playing for Forfar and had a loan spell at Berwick three seasons ago.
Darren Miller is the first player to join us in my stint having picked up the save from Shedender. He joins from Alloa for just four and a half thousand pounds.
And young seventeen year old Tony Gallagher joins on loan form parent club Falkirk.
The cup runs started and we've got a win in the Challenge Cup First Round as we faced Annan Athletic. We won two one with first half goals from Lavery and Morris. Adams pulled one back late on for the host but we advance.
We will face an away trip to Airdrieonians in the Second Round, a game I feel we should be winning and definitely possible of advancing on again.
How we lost this I'll never know. Lavery sent us ahead against Airdrieonians in the league four minutes before the break however they struck back on the verge of half time. McLean then netted twice in three minutes, eleven minutes from time as we lead three one. However conceding in the eighty first and eighty ninth minute saw us throw away that lead.
Dan
Airdrie were ninth before this game, we were eighth, we have now slipped to ninth with this defeat, times are tough

Pointless game, pointless result. Season has ended with a 2-0 defeat away to Elgin.

No League Cup run for us though. Cowdenbeath beat us two nil at home. Poor showing from us, against we didn't take our chances.
Dan
We're off on winning ways in the league thanks to an Allan Smith brace securing a two nil win to kick off the season against Peterhead.
Dan
We got thumped away at Elgin City, no excuses, terrible showing
Dan

Cup run over blady blah blah
Dan
Despite the good start to the league season its al going down hill and quickly, another loss after being ahead.
Dan
Same story, different weak, we don't take our chances again and it costs us
Dan
Boring nil nil draw, a point on the board though.
Dan
Back to back nil nil draws, better than losing I suppose.
