Annoying to lose away from home at Barrow, we threw away the lead twice after McKendry gave us the lead first and then Power gave us a two one lead at the break. Slipping to a three two defeat in the end.

Back to winning ways as we beat Chester away from home two one. Again McKendry and Mellor the scorers for us.

This was massive, second place Ebbsfleet vs first place Lincoln and we claimed a massive two nil win away from home. Davis and Harvey netting, one nine minutes into the game, one nine minutes from time.

Keeping our heads screwed on and focused on a potential double this season, we hammered Hendon in the FA Trophy Second Round four goals to one. Good to see Barry Edwards netting again as he bagged two. McKendry and Todd also on the scoresheet after we were one goal down.

A good clean sheet and making it four wins in our last five league games at home. Late goals from McKendry and Johnston won it for us.

An Alex Pike own goal gifted Macclesfield a draw against us, two points dropped for sure here.

That almost went horribly. Maidenhead United pushed us all the way to injury time. We trailed the conference South team after eighteen minutes and didn't level until the second minute of injury time when Swan netted forcing extra time. Mellor netted two minutes from time to save our blushes, onto the fourth round.

Dull Draw against Boreham, we've got them in the next round of the FA Trophy too.

Well this was disappointing, tenth place Woking stole a draw after we had a two goal lead. Edwards and an own goal sent us two ahead. However half time it was 2-1 with a late goal three minutes from time.

We're into the FA Trophy Semi Final! We beat Boreham Wood away from home two goals to nil with Maguire and Murray netting for us.

Back to league action, fourth place Northampton welcomed us, we won two nil with ease. Todd and Duggan on the scoresheet for us.

This is poor, the first leg against Torquay, at home we lost two nil. We've got it all to do second leg!

Rested some key players ahead of the second leg of the cup next match, we drew one a piece with Dover and this saw us drop to second in the league.

Get in there! I had to play overload from the first whistle and we played it till the final whistle and turned the tie, beat Torquay three nil. Todd netted after eighteen minutes and from then on we didn't look back. Second half goals from Murray and Cardiff loanee Edwards saw us advance.
Que sera sera! Whatever will be will be! We're going to Wembley!! Qur Sera Sera! And so foowing that turn around we're heading to Wembley to face Barrow in the FA Trophy Final. It'll be a tight tie thats for sure as we sit second in the Vanarama Conference and Barrow sit third.

A third game against Torquay United in just over a week where Barry Edwards netted the only goal, a one nil win for us.

No pressure at all, we've failed to beat Barrow both times this season...
But third time lucky! We are the FA Trophy champions following a narrow one nil win over Barrow. We played well and deserved the trophy on the stats and Robinson's sixty first minute goal secured us our third trophy of the career.

And so that was my final game of the stint, I think I only lost one league game but still we don't go into April at the top of the pile. Shedender has work to do if we wish to secure the double this season, we trailed Ebbsfleet by four points however have a game in hand which could see us close the game to a single point at the top of the table.

Poor. We needed a late Ronan Murray goal to salvage a point away to struggling Sutton United.

This was our game in hand on leaders Ebbsfleet and it didn't exactly go to plan as a dire performance saw us suffer a disappointing two nil defeat at home to a Grimsby Town side who struck twice inside the final twenty minutes through Mark Kitching and Kyle Wootton. Poor.

Just picked up a huge win away to struggling Whitehawk, Jason Davis scoring our winner on fifty nine minutes.

Secured a comprehensive three goals to nil win against the basement club Kidderminster - Josh Todd bagging a treble.

Yes because losing to a team that's second bottom is going to win you a league title. Unacceptable performance from the Imps as the on loan Mitchell Duggan scored our consolation goal on a dismal night and we have lost top spot as well.

Cheers pal! I was really disappointed with the defeat to Eastleigh though and that's potentially cost us the league.
Poor. Tyler Harvey scored our goal on sixty six minutes but it was back-to-back defeats but thankfully Ebsfleet got beat at home against third placed Barrow which means the title will go down to the final day of the season - we are at Morecambe and need to win and 'pray' Ebsfleet lose away to Braintree.

Unbelievable, despite being predicted to finish down in sixteenth position, we have won promotion to the Football League following this victory away to Morecambe and Ebsfleet lost away to Braintree and I'm (and I'm sure Dan) over the moon. Tyler Harvey and Conor McKendry scored our goals in between an Adam McGurk equaliser.

Both of these clubs suffered the heartbreak of relegation from League One at the end of the season and of course I decided to apply for them both as not only did I feel it's time for us to move on in our career but I've also turned down around two contract offers from Lincoln to extend my stay at Sincil Bank so 'Dean Ashton' will be unemployed come the end of June.
Just hope one or both of the clubs come back with offers.

Oh deary me. Hope you're ready for unemployment Dan whenever you take charge (part of me is hoping Lincoln will offer one more deal before it expires) as I've been unsuccessful in not only the Colchester United job but also the Gillingham post as well and I'm really disappointed I couldn't get one of them as it would've meant progression in the managerial ladder but it now means a) we are going to be without a club unless b) Lincoln offer a new deal.

Not really ideal, but it's better than being unemployed I guess. We've signed a new one year contract extension and that'll take us until the end of next season. Only had six days remaining on our current existing deal while we also got a slight 'pay rise' as well in the deal. Didn't want to sign a new deal at Sincil Bank as we both (sure Dan agreed) wanted to move onto a 'bigger' club.
