I could swear I saw one or two going "Wagner Out" on Twitter, but that could just be my imagination.
Yeah they did, if I remember right we played the Thunderbirds theme for them as well; and this year the home end "sung" the Star Wars theme for them and the announcer, at the end of the game, wished them a safe trip home and said "May the force be with you". Which is dumb because Storm Troopers were with the Empire, what an idiot...

Also their Chief Exec. came in a Yoda mask and his wife came dressed as Princess Leia, looked hilarious those two in the Director's Box.

I saw the Yoda/Leia stuff. It all sounds like a pretty fun way to end the season tbf.

Fleetwood already 2-0 up against Crewe, so we're as good as buried now.

Does it sum up how much Blackpool have ceased to be a football club that they contrived to let Peterborough score 5 from being behind at 45?

RIP

TBH I'm not too upset. More angry. We have indeed stopped being a football club, and will be until these parasites at our club are gone.

So, in 2009, Burton Albion were non-league. They're now in the Championship and could be facing a local derby with Derby County, as well as Aston Villa. Blimey Charlie.

I'm so not looking forward to seeing Sky gloat as Newcastle lose at their less-than-7,000 stadium on a Tuesday night next season.

Quite enjoyable day today. Entertaining game, great weather, also topped off by Ryan Lowe scoring an brace and an injury time peno, on his last appearance for the club. Was a decent season but quite frankly I need a bit of a break now lol

Here we go then, 15 minutes until our owners get one step closer to achieving "Operation Conference"

Just one more relegation to go . . . Commiserations.

Really feel sorry for Blackpool, absolutely criminal what's going on. I mean we've had it bad the last 5 years but we haven't sunk as low as you have done.

Hope you get rid of them soon, keep fighting for what you believe in!

Another successful Oyston suing of a fan - 30k plus costs and a restraining order.

Our owners are a disgrace.

Is there any significant phoenix movement? I've heard people are going to see Fleetwood and Fylde?

I think there needs to be general football boycott of Blackpool - home and away fans need to stop going completely,

I could swear I saw one or two going "Wagner Out" on Twitter, but that could just be my imagination.

I saw them too - they were being sarcastic, thankfully. That said, I don't think anyone's under any illusions about how much work needs doing this summer. I just feel we have the right manager and I've seen so many steps forward. Can't let two shocking results and performances detract from that, without ignoring the reasons for those results.

Seen Reading have let a couple of interesting players go. Cox and Ferdinand are probably past their sell-by date, but Hal Robson-Kanu could do a job, surely? Something odd going on down there.

Not really, there is another team in Blackpool (have existed ages, not part of move against owners) called AFC Blackpool Mechanics or something but they have always been small time and just amateur. Don't think we'll have many fans watching them instead.

As for Fleetwood, I think there is too much rivalry there. We've played them a few times the past couple of seasons so it would be wrong to switch allegiances there. Different town too.

AFC Fylde is probably where most would end up to watch a game, they have a new 6000 seater stadium being built for next season and are currently in the play off final for the conference north so if they win that there'd only be one division between us! Which is crazy to think. Plus, they are a relatively new club with no real history of grievances and Kirkham isn't too far away for most. If I still lived up there and wanted to see some football, it's where I would go.

As for boycotting, there has been the NAPM (not a penny more) movement for quite some time now. Though some people still attended games this season as they had already paid for 2 year season tickets. A lot of those have run out now but there are always those who continue to go and renew every season, blinkered to what's going on at the club and just go selfish reasons. Don't want to go into that too much as it already causes enough arguments and such on our forums.

Got my tickets for Sunday, play off final again, this time vs Village Green Rovers.

Really, really hoping we can do it this year after being a penalty away last year. Over 10,000 tickets snapped up in 48 hours of sales so we should have a good backing, and fingers crossed for the right result.

If we do win this Sunday, the other Wembley trip the week after is gonna be an absolute party!

Chances of Rafa leaving?

Can't really see him staying on standing in the dugout at fekking Burton. At least you avoid MK Dons and Notlob since they're our problem now

True!

Blackpool are a club run by a family of greedy, vile sub-humans. I'm past caring about our results on a heartfelt level, but I have followed the club for too long to not follow events at it. One day I might go back to supporting them properly, when the scum are gone, but until then I watch on with apathy. Poke fun all you like, but it's like kicking someone in their prosthetic limb.

I don't see any reason why he'd insist on a break clause in his contract if he was going to stay even if we were relegated so I think he's gone.

That said - there's been more positive noises coming from various journalists recently about it so who knows?

It's up to our Chief Executive to persuade him to stay, and I think my dog that died 4 years ago is more suited to his role than he is unfortunately.

Shambles of a club, top to bottom.

Ha, I was only joking - things are bad at Newcastle but they can always be worse.

They'll leave eventually, and it'll be a fucking party when they do.

Half of all Championship teams are pissed off by their owners in some way so you'll fit right in. Also, you'll get to play a Rovrum side managed by Neil Warnock and a Forest side with Dougie Freedman on the touchline with the usual Championship shit-stirrers (Grayson, Mick, Jackett, Clough) being around so it's all gonna be a right fekkin laugh perhaps

Shame you won't be visiting us this time in the Championship, it was fun last time.

Though we didn't enjoy the away trip until we joined you in the Prem!

The Championship is gonna be a hell of a division next season, though it usually is pretty good!
