Knocked out because of an unfortunate Gareth McAuley own goal.

Absolutely fucking gutted.

It was a nice journey while it lasted and hopefully not another 30 years to wait for qualifying again.

Robbie Savage has ruined this match for me.

How? He's better than most! Poland v Swiss earlier was awful with Jonathan Pearce AND Lawro, nearly had to mute it.

His arselicking of Gareth Bale was unbearable, he crossed in the ball which led to an own goal and he was screaming about it as if he scored a 40 yard screamer.

I actually don't mind Lawro, I know a lot of people despise him.

Really conflicted here, prefer the Croatian team but have Portugal in the work sweepstake and could do with the money!

Also, Portugal win worst kit of the tournament. Even the Turkish away kit is no match for it.

Hey! Because four best third placed teams got through, it meant Northern Ireland progressed to the last sixteen.

But yeah I digress, this competition has been a load of shite with so many boring games especially the forgettable one last night between Croatia and Portugal which managed to outdo the crapness of Germany/Poland. I'd actually rather re-watch some games from the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, at least their was LOADS more entertaining games.

Aye, there were several top drawer national teams back then. Not sure there are any now apart from, on their day, Spain and Germany.

Still looking forward to today and especially tomorrow's games though!
