Am I the only one who doesn't think it was a penalty to England? Sterling looked for it and hoenstly wasn't going to catch up with the ball as it was racing over the touchline.

Good penalty by Rooney mind! But then conceding two before the twenieth minute, just shows how shit we are at the back and how Joe Hart has been this tournament!

"England have faced 5 shots in this tournament and conceded 4 goals" says it all! Wish Jack Butland was fit!

Nah, I thought it was a tad harsh but I can also see why the referee awarded it.

I miss the days when Rooney was England's worst player and a hindrance. Now he's England best player and a hindrance.

Walker and Rose are OK, but they're there for their physical attributes rather than technique. Rooney can't move the ball quick enough and tends to slow the play down. Dier is pointless, and always offers the choice to move the ball backwards when we're already playing a glacial pace. Alli is lost, as a number ten he's waiting for a ball that won't come. Sturridge, Sterling and Kane can't get the service. and will drop deep, but Iceland won't follow, they'll stay in regardless.

The obvious thing is to take a central midfielder off and go 4-4-2 with width. But wingers aren't very fashionable so we'll go out. At least we can put on Wilshere to recycle possession. Or maybe Barkley in an attempt to block the congestion by adding more congestion.

This is by some distance the worst England performance I've ever seen. No fight, no passion, but plenty of touches and sideways passes. Goodbye Hodgson, you clueless idiot.

Well done to Iceland though, they deserved that 100%.
