Yeah I was gonna say I like Mane. £30m seems a lot but like Franck said those prices aren't what they used to be. Especially in a world where around £50m is the new go-to price for a talented youngster

The Pound has crashed and the new TV deal has kicked in. £30m isn't what it was last summer.

FSG probably paying in dollars as well so they've basically brought Mane for the price of a hotdog

We live in a world where Watford rejected £30m for Troy fucking Deeney.

£34m now is not much money.

Seems like a bargain compared to Hulk's move to China apparently worth €55M.

Or it could be a complete disaster, he's done well at every club he's been at more or less but he's also 34 now.

Which is irrelevant to how old he is.

He played more games and scored more goals then any other season in his career (including his 3 prior seasons at PSG in the same French league.

It hardly screams that he is a player in significant physical decline and when you consider that he's going to cost us a relative pittance compared to some transfer fees, even including his wages and signing on fee, and will cost less than Martial and Batshuayi (who both scored less goals in the very same league), for a season or two it becomes as close to a no-brainer as you can get. Even if he flops it doesn't really matter.

When he can be bothered, he's had one good season in his entire career.

I'm sure people think he's younger than he is.

Ibra will most likely get around 18 goals which is a decent return for that United side considering he'll have Mkhitaryan & Martial either side

It's him I'm worried about.

Big money, hit and miss record, coming off the back of an exceptionally good season. It's got United transfer fuck up written all over it.

Ibra will do well if we get him the service. It's getting him the service that worries me especially if Rooney plays number 10 (well if Rooney plays at all).

I think Mkhitaryan will be great but might need a month or two to settle. Ibra drops very deep anyway so wouldn't be surprised to see Martial benefiting alot from his presence

Townsend has been confirmed and Dwight Gayle has gone the other way. Not a straight swap I don't think.

Gayle should do well in the Championship.

Nah it's a separate deal, Matt Richie has also signed from Bournemouth.
