One for the League Cup games I guess.

Also it looks like Mahrez is going to Arsenal.

I wonder where Juve will get that sort of money from...

Jeez. I'm not even sure Higuain is that good (I know he had a good season in Italy, but still).

Apparently can afford it without having to sell Pogba, but we shall see.

Looking forward to the receptions Pjanic and Higuain get when they return to Rome and Naples!

Only half of that is for the player, really. The rest is just to eliminate their last remaining title rival.
There's really no way that Napoli could replace the 20-35 goals Higuain would have given them. There's barely any strikers capable of scoring 10 goals on the market, getting one who could score 20 will be impossible.
They are apparently kicking the tires on Icardi, but there's no way that transfer actually happens. They should go after Bacca and Lacazette too, but again, there's no way that they'd actually sign them.

Bournemouth seem set to sign Liverpool's Brad Smith, shame they didn't do it last year when he was available for nothing! I'm looking forward to seeing him progress and compete for a place there. Do Bournemouth still have Tyrone Mings on their books as well? Hope he has recovered well from injury and provides competition at left back for them too.

Well the second part I find interesting because all depends on what ADL does now. As it stands there are plenty of things to be considered if/when Higuain goes through (or is confirmed to put it that way)
I just cannot see Sarri go for a striker like Bacca. Yes, he is a good striker and would defo score goals in this Napoli side but I just don't think he's the type of player Napoli is looking for. Think Sarri would be looking at someone else.
Icardi? I think I heard Inter are willing to sell if someone offers around 55 Mil€, DiMarzio reported that Napoli are offering 50 + addons. Good player and already has bags of experience and is proven but he and especially his wife come across like two reyt cunts and I can't believe ADL and Sarri would tolerate this kind of behaviour.
Lacazette? On paper looks the perfect fit but might a bit difficult after the Gonalons saga to hire Lyon's star player. His skills are undeniable but I can't see Aulas himself letting him go unless someone pays really silly money.
Milik? Has potential, knows where the back of the net is but to me is a bit of a gamble. Quite unproven at top level football (Serie A > Eredivisie and all that) and 32 Mil is still quite a heavy price tag (although not that big if you consider prices payed elsewhere). He is about to sign if reports are to be believed but I remain scpetic of his "true" potential. However I don't really believe if Milik was to sign that would be it regarding transfers upfront (maybe Icardi and Milik as some sort of "luxury sub"?)
Which leads to the last question. What about Gabbiadini? Is he going to stay or not? In what way will Sarri use him? I for one rate him quite highly, so I think just signing one or two strikers and shift out Gabbiadini would be a bit harsh. Questions over questions.
I guess Napoli will go on and sign Tolisso now (disregarding former Aulas - ADL "encounters" and sign Milik at some point. But for me the "real" battle awaits when Koulibaly was to move. Agent clearly being a massive twat on that one so very interested to see how that one is developing

If we manage to get Mahrez in addition I'll be happy
Sam
I hope so because I'm fucking bored of this now.

Same. I don't think I've ever cared less about a transfer saga involving us. I'd prefer we sign him, but if we'd told them to get to fuck after the free went north of €100m and signed someone else I would have been happy too. I think he's over-rated regardless of what happens.
Sam
I feel the same pretty much. I'll be very happy if he signs, however it wouldn't be the end of the world if he didn't.

I haven't really seen much of him to comment, but if it means not playing Jones at right back I'm happy.
Franck
Napoli and some other clubs were after him earlier in the summer but were priced out.
Speaking of Napoli, seems like Milik is their Higuain replacement.
Based Jorge
Meanwhile at Arsenal, Chuba Akpom is expected to start up front against Liverpool in the first game of the season

He isn't even Juventus' best midfielder but obviously he has massive potential

The money our club makes is absurd and I'd rather spend it on something tangible like players than it being hoarded by the Glazers.
I think as a percentage of income the transfer deal for Pogba would rank at about the same as yours for Özil so whilst the money is crazy, I guess its just a reflection of the financial juggernaut we've turned in to. As long as it doesn't completely block the path for players like Fosu-Mensah and Rashford to come through, and the club doesn't put itself at financial risk by spending the cash, I don't really care how much we spend on players.
