Hello,

I just paid for a subscription. Is it safe to cancel the recurring payment, and keep the year I paid for? I don't know if I want to continue next year and I'd rather resubscribe manually than find myself missing 10 pounds and wondering what's going on a year from now.

You can unsubscribe within paypal, if you find the recent transaction to us and view details there should be a "Cancel Subscription" button.

You can also try this link although it doesn't always work: Cancel Subscription Link

I wouldnt mate they don't make it so simple, I tried to cancel mine via the website and their website conveniently wont let me into my paypal account so I had to go the long way around and sign into my paypal account and cancel the subscription that way.

Next year will be interesting to see if they try and fraud me again like they did last January.

I am new with this and first time PayPal user, so i would know if thats possible . I hope for you its simple and no charging anymore.

Going into paypal is the only way to do it. If I want to cancel it I also have to log into Paypal, there's no "fraud". It's literally impossible for us to do anything, you sign up and we can cancel it and that's it, we can't take more money or reactivate. We have no such options. Everything is automatic and managed by paypal.

If you know another way to do it via the paypal API so that we can add an unsubscribe button please do let me know, but as far as i'm aware it doesn't exist. But please don't accuse us of fraud, not only is it totally false it's literally impossible.

Hi. I bought the game and a premium membership at the same time via my bank account and not paypal. Is it a recurring payment? If so I want to cancel it for next year but I can'y see it on my direct debits or standing orders on my online banking. Does this mean mine was just a one off payment?

When you say not via paypal was it a few weeks ago, we used a different payment provider for a few weeks but then reverted to Paypal?

If it was, then it won't renew don't worry

Thanks for your support, i just wanted to know if i want to stop because i couldnt find that. For now its not the case and i want to enjoy the possibilities of the premium membership.

No it wasn't via paypal and it was on 19 October. It's not that I don't want it to renew, it's just that I didn't want to auto-renew. Will I get reminder to renew?

It won't auto-renew, so you'll have to sign up again next year

I’ve just been on my bank account and seen I have had £10 taken out for this. I have the same problem as guy on a forum I saw a minute ago. I have looked around my paypal and can not find any subscription payments. It must be another PayPal I have used in the past and cannot remember the email for the life of me. Rashly I cancelled my main PayPal before really thinking about what it could’ve been. Any help cancelling would be much appreciated.
Still live FM just haven’t got the time for that big of an addiction haha

Hi all

This may be a daft question and I think I already know the answer, but I guess I'm just after reassurance!!

I want to gain a premium subscription.

I've used Paypal many times before, but when I go to sign up for this subscription, I get a notice stating that money can be taken out of my account without me signing in etc.

I'm guessing that would be because of the renewal of the subscription next year, but because I hadn't ever seen the message before, I just want to double check that no money other than my initial £10 subscription will be taken from my account??

It's a subscription so yeah it will come out automatically each year, but you can cancel straight away and it won't

It's a subscription so yearly, but you can cancel anytime
