All the pundits seem to love going on about us not being able to win the league because of our defence, not seen much mention of City having the same problem though. Odd given how terrible there defence is.

Nice to see City fans wearing their sky blue seat disguise again.

I hope Pochettino holds back every single player after training for extra shooting practice. We must have the worst, if not one of worst, shot conversion rates of any team in England. 2 goals from about 30 shots today. Also Sissoko, what a brilliant player. Haven't seen that level of footballer since Ronaldo was in the Prem.

I'd say you were equally as shite as us in the 1-1 draw tbh.

Robles should be nowhere near Premier League football.

Crazy end there, 94th minute winner. Only saw the second half but Liverpool were well on top, but couldn't break Everton down. Frantic game including a terrible challenge on Henderson by Barkley.

Another game and another ref missing an obvious horrific tackle.

I don't know what s going on but it not an exaggeration to say that player safety is under threat.

Game was crap tbf. Least Barkley did his best to liven it up by being a colossal fucking idiot and somehow getting away with it.

Breaking news - Crystal Palace sack Alan Pardew today

Yup - sacked in the last 20 minutes.

Dunno why but it is a bit of a surprise, even after the fact they've had a well documented struggle to get points in 2016. But I suppose its enough to bring a smile after all those slagging us off last year for complaining about his abilities to go on seemingly unending negative runs.

Seemed inevitable - though leaves Palace in a much better place than where he found them

Allardyce (or whoever) should keep Palace up with ease - especially a defensive minded coach as Dann and Tomkins have looked like jokes whenever I've seen them this season. Sort them out, get Townsend and Benteke firing and they should be up by 12th with no bother.

That's Palace safe then. Big Sam will tighten them up straight away and they've got some good players themselves going forward to always be a threat. Given how little there is between the teams from 7th down, wouldn't be surprised to see them finish top 10 or very close to.

One less team to finish below Burnley as well, get them down.

"They were a football club who enjoy traditions with the way they spent. They didn’t try to compete with all the other clubs. They did what they thought was the right thing to do and spent the right way."

In the same interview:

“When I first went in my real target was Gareth Bale. I felt all along that Gareth Bale was a Manchester United player. I fought right until the last minute. We actually offered [Tottenham Hotspur] a bigger deal than Real Madrid [a then world record £85 million – United offered £100 million]. But Gareth had his mind made up on going to Real Madrid.

I feel damn dirty watching that.

Shame we conceded that goal in the end and missed a few chances otherwise we could have given that cunt the twatting he deserves.

Mkhitaryan is such a beautiful football player.

Ibrahimovic with one goal and two assists, he's been superb.

I'm puzzled as to what the FA charging Harry the Hornet for diving in front of Zaha after the Watford-Palace game is supposed to achieve.

If he keeps up the form and can produce in the big games then sure.

I'm more than a bit worried about what went on at the start of the season, and what has been said about it by both him and Mourinho, but he's been a revelation since coming in so fair play.

It's a nice change to have low expectations of a player and be pleasantly surprised than expecting a lot and being let down.
