Heading into October, celebrating another birthday, we're very much where we were last season, not really noticing much progress this year around but I wasn't expecting to. We're doing very well as it stands and if we can secure European football again next season its a great step in the right direction. We're on a great run in the Europa League and the EFL Cup to date, can we continue.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/DyhogBsTcBGY2w2WkqjqzLjWL7n7aW0EQLNPq4bX.png

Hows that Europa League form!? three wins from three now in the group stage as we beat BMG and CSKA-Sofia. We welcomed German giants BMG and surprisingly beat them three nil as Acuna and Briere both netted in the first half and McGregor netted late on to secure the win. Liverpool came to us and we lost one nil. The a trip to Middlesbrough saw us win five three Acuna netted a superb hatrick whilst Webb and Torres also continue their strong season. It was back to back hatricks for Acuna as we beat CSKA Sofia four two! Webb also netting for a second game running. The month ended with us welcoming Tottenham who we don't have a great record against, but drew two a piece. Fofana and Webb put us two one up before half time.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/36vg0XbQ3LG99gXLnkoC6ouMBRdBgEtBxXRlugxB.png

Slowly trundling through the season month by month, we're now nine games played and sixth in the league. Surprisingly Stoke are up in fifth but I don't expect their European hunt to continue throughout the season. Surprisingly both Liverpool and Spurs are struggling to date this season whilst Chelsea are still unbeaten having dropped just two points.

I forgot to screenshot the Europa League table, I'll post it in the next update.

London City FC - November 2034

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/oFeNEjb6C6kYaABAgFXU13ACkXTudtB9389kQu7k.pnghttps://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/y0pglcfICt3nJTUH67CgbJNVpPp8kylkughrespk.pnghttps://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/q8HpGnXQvdr5RQxhW2zXL9AgEoL4Al12FuHnp1yK.pnghttps://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/TAo3wMo6AJz4PNTkzEj3V4AbCO5M80rPZGBROcJd.png

Into the penultimate month of 2034 as we're really heading through the latter years now. Season nineteen is approaching the halfway stage and we're still in all three competitions we've entered to date as well as obviously scooping the Community Shield. There would be six more matches for us in November with one in the EFL Cup, two in the Europa League and three Premier League matches, how would we be sitting in these three competitions come the end of the month...

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/h94RSoDaBrPgyLhSTfF8kokNeSkSTh1uTfPC0DI1.png

Another superb month in all three competitions sees us win four, draw one and lose just once again as we continue our great form across November. It began by welcoming Leicester in the EFL Cup and knocking them out the Fourth Round. Briere gave us the lead from a spot kick six minutes before half time. McGregor made it two ten minutes after the restart. Leicester put the pressure on us when they pulled one back but we held on, we'll face Man united in the Quarter Finals. A trip to a wet and windy Stoke then followed and the scoreline was the same, a two one league win. Fofana and Nowocien netting our goals. Three games played and three different competitions as we next welcomed CSKA-Sofia and walked past them in the Europa League for the second time. A strong showing saw us win three nil, all three inside twenty minutes as Acuna, Vanfleteren and Fofana all found the net. We welcomed Reading in the League and were held to a one all draw, Nowocien bailing us out in the seventy ninth minute to earn a point. A trip to Burnley saw Webb net his only two goals of the month in the second half as we won two nil. Ending the month welcoming Ukrainian side Dynamo Kyiv and losing out narrowly, one nil.

http://i.imgur.com/aflMq20.png

Still hanging in and around the right area with us occupying fifth place, it seems fifth if our seventh of last season where we occupied it most and finished. Chelsea are still unbeaten, now twelve in and still only drawn the one match, winning the other eleven. They're six clear of Arsenal in second. Man City are a further point away with United a further point behind again and then us, another further point behind. We then have a four point gap of the chasing pack consisting of West Ham, Reading and Leicester.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/Arr5OgYLyUantv1MI8JIh61WT1kQhzb7CcCRLp6e.png

We have met the boards objectives for the Europa League and qualified for the first knockout round, now it'll all depend on what sort of draw we end up getting for those rounds to see if we can go further. We're currently topping the group with one game to go and that is a tricky trip to Germany to face BMG. They are just two points behind us and could jump us with a win. However if they lose they could go out if Dynamo Kyiv beat CSKA-Sofia in their last game, the latter of the two sides are bottom without a point to date.

The final month of the 2034 calendar year sees it fall away as we've been very successful this calendar year, much better than expected. We not only secured Europa League football for the first time ever but lifted the FA Cup and the Community Shield. Now we need to see the year out on a high, a busy one though as we faced eight matches across the three different competitions.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/FrpEdVQYlQcCsOvdbOAfeTHsWxTYrUeODJZOdi6V.png

A very good final month of the year but it was epected to be with games against Brentford, Fulham and Sheffield Wednesday all struggling. Two defeats against United though. A five one win over Brentford started the month well with goals from Frik, Nowocien (x2), Webb and Johnston as we ran riot. We then blew the lead late on against Man City, Webb gave us the lead before the host netted three minutes from time. It was a late goal that cost us all three points in Germany too after Webb once again gave us the lead but we conceded five minutes from time. Back to league action we welcomed struggling Fulham and beat them two nil with Nowocien netting a fine brace. The hunt for our first ever EFL Cup will go on as Man United beat us four one in the Quarter Finals, MJRDB netted our goal. Basement side Sheffield Wednesday then welcomed us and I don't think they want to again, we put five past them without reply as MJRDB struck after four minutes, Nowocien netted a twenty five minute hatrick and Webb struck, all five goals before half time. There was a second win for Man United against us this month, beating us one nil in the league before we ended the month with another head to head with Arsenal...

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/ImwjkK800nyvH4in1ST88Osa1bucXV0xlTxnwh2p.png

This is getting funny now! For a third time in a row we've beat Arsenal against the stats! Arsenal hit nineteen shots against us with eleven on target and fifty eight percent of the ball, however we won three one with six shots and four of those on target. Webb struck two for us with Frik also on target.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/Lg6IDyGrsk7JMj7LnZtp0xqRLosrqLtwbp59GX3R.png

And so we head into the 2035 calendar year with the club sat in fourth, occupying a Champions League spot halfway through the season is a sensational effort from the club to date. Chelsea continue to lead the way having lost just one game in nineteen matches to date this season. Both Manchester clubs sit infront of us, one and two points ahead so still catchable. Arsenal are also just a point behind us, it'd be great to even get Europa League football next year again.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/I18C8vj8GrxC9l0TVcLlwmTBn7fggBLH9kfjQqsK.png

Finally to end the year with some Europa League news. We topped our Europa League group come the end and BMG go through in second with the draw at the end. CSKA-Sofia also end with a point as they drew with Dynamo Kyiv in their final group game of the competition. We'll now face Portuguese side Vit.Setubal in the First Knockout Round and I have every confidence of progressing again.

England - 2034 Post World Cup Round Up

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/g9WtAXbmmm4jo2NxcXrOBEAtJrxBRsI3rWRG8SC2.pnghttps://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/wzxc4l6zpRdPN4RDnNk6JyilU1EL3Kq0nNBfaeT1.pnghttps://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/6sPvkqVoRzsBdl3SCgh1IuMgSaMrNc7PMJgKtYZC.pnghttps://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/Igqzc4T6hnkuo3qq471MrwVaIl6rieUXA3EVVpVN.png

And so the final five months of action this calendar year with England is to be wrapped up. We had already had a very, very good calendar year having finished third in the World Cup, much better than we were predicted and the FA expected. And since we've faced six more matches, two friendlies and four games in the European International League, could we better our Semi Final appearance from last year.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/NOI0jfTJkMWiFkGPvVs8zzsBuo2fVXGuZfI1D6y3.png

Some pretty good form. We beat Colombia in a friendly two nil before starting my second ever European League and beating Belgium two nil. Portugal then beat us three nil before a friendly draw one a piece with Serbia, a side England haven't beat in head to heads in this game. Back to European League action and two superb wins followed as we beat Beligum away from England, two nil with Rigby netting btoh and then a sensational result against Portugal saw us beat them six two.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/ts9lTw6YBUTuy6rOFLKiSvcNRZCxb4VawcUo69CD.png

The screenshot is a bit back to front, on the right you can see we won the group from the four matches we played which will see Portugal relegated to the next group. We topped Group 2 with nine points whilst Belgium and Portugal both finished on four points, the latters poor goal difference seeing them finish bottom. We'll face the holders of the competition, Spain, in the Semi Final, the round the board want us to get to anyway.

And as always, as of late, following the annual England round up we now head back to club football and head into 2035 and now we're hoping it'll be just as successful if not even more than 2034 was. Two new trophies added to the cabinet last calendar year and now there aren't too many avoiding us. We would face a busy start to the year with another seven matches, across two competitions as we began our FA Cup adventure and try to defend our title.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/5kOu6XWW4cFRub2yI7niNejtYmmbrBB7Wr5LbhOk.png

Two more players depart the club, one on a loan deal and one on a permanent deal. Young Miles Dixon, now twenty three to be fair, has moved to Cambridge on loan, he had made five appearances for us in the Premier League this year. Adam McGregor has departed the club following six years of loyal service. He joined us back in the Championship, originally on loan from Peterborough but then signing a permanent deal for £625k. But unfortunately just a fringe player now, we got back £1.9 million.

http://i.imgur.com/aBcJWAE.png

And another January transfer in for us, well, our first and only one this year but we made one last year as well, out of the ordinary for me but couldn't miss this chance. Centre back Nieto was transfer listed by Monaco for ten million and we snapped him up, a steal if you ask me.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/Nfsrdbfd96iWWFF48aKVSgW5YT3oxdeC4ks8xqXy.png

Seven games in January, five wins and two draws, its been a brilliant start to the 2035 calendar year indeed. We began with a very good four two win over Southampton with Webb, Nowocien both netting along with a brace from Torres. We then traveled to Wycombe in the FA Cup Third Round with a brace from Nowocien and Fofana striking to sink the club from League One with a three nil win. A draw against Swansea followed in the league, Dunn sending us ahead before we conceded. A five goal thriller followed against Watford, Webb and two from Briere secured a three two win. Everton are very much our bogey side and we just about snatched a draw against them when Webb struck three minutes from time. We ended the month well with two more home games, first beating league leaders Chelsea four one!! Torres had put us in front before Chelsea leveled. We left it late to win but Nowocien (x2) and Briere netted in the final eight minutes to secure the big win. Finally beating Leicester two one, our goals came at complete ends of the game, Frik in the first minute and Dunn in the ninety first.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/3Ty4mkAw9HnsroKlSsJ0fMEQ1gNtG0kKfg2p8Hjx.png

We would be title contenders had it not been for Chelsea having a superb season and sitting ten points clear with fourteen games to play. But astonishingly we are sitting second! Our fourth ever season here and we're playing like we belong here, like we've been here for ages! United trail us by a point and can jump us with their game in hand. A top five finish is looking likely as we're eleven points clear of West Ham who occupy sixth.

Into February we go and still pleasing everyone with our performances on the pitch, especially the board. Once again we'd face a busy month as we had three different competitions to deal with. It wasn't quite as busy as the last two months but we still faced six matches with just two of those in the Premier League, the other four in the FA Cup and the Europa League. Could we continue our run.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/1BTCQSd5wpBp1ql4pRAFqoNNcyt1lRp8BsZHLNq0.png

It wasn't too bad again this month, one defeat, which saw us exit the FA Cup so we won't be defending our crown this year around, but four more points in the league and advancing in the Europa League. We beat Championship side Ipswich in the FA Cup Fourth Round with Arregui and Briere both netting inside the opening twelve minutes. A trip to West Ham saw us beat them very comfortably, four one as Briere netted along with Nowocien who struck a hatrick! Three more away games on the bounce followed, we snatched a late draw against Liverpool with a seventy eighth minute equaliser from Torres. A trip to Portugal in the Europa League First Round saw us grab a nil nil draw against Vit. Setubal. We played a rotated, yet still fairly strong side against West Ham in the FA Cup Fifth Round but crashed out, losing four two as Torres struck both our second half goals. And we started March which I included in this update so I can show you who we face in the next round of the Europa League as we beat Vit. Setubal three one. Two own goals helped us progress along with a late strike from Arregui to secure our spot in the next round, beating the boards expectations again.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/H3r7CLksmEsrJkk7d12fVtRPrZtFzKYVHZ8oIaO7.png

There were a handful of teams I wanted us to draw in the Europa League second round, Vigo, Roda JC, Dinamo or even CSKA Moscow whilst I knew it was important we avoided the likes of Man City, Sevila, Juventus and At Madrid. Much to my delight we did get Spanish side Vigo who I really think we can surpass over two legs. I would of preferred the second leg to be at home but hopefully we can cope.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/LGwNraXprE6K85NQA0r6tjpIyyH7q5vYXVneLppY.png

Manchester United jump us and move to second, they're now ten points behind league leaders Chelsea who have lost just twice all season, one of those to us last month. We're a further two points behind, now twelve points off the top but only two off second place. Fourth place Manchester City trail us by four points now with Arsenal now six points behind as we're beginning to open up a gap and have an 'easier couple of months' coming up too.

Three months of competitive football left to play, three months to secure a top four spot in the league hopefully. Three months to try and continue our European run, our first ever European run at that. March handed us another seven matches across the Europa League and the Premier League. As we already know, we're into the Second Knockout Round in Europe and banging on the door for a top four finish in the league, we also hit a big milestone. I missed the screenshot for the youth intake, but you can guess how it went...

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/iQezQJLPcCMRwRyFmmVXuccMZ1lAhHMER2kDHYFD.png

Yep thats correct, 1000 games in management now, well, it will be by the time we face Vigo for the second time in March which you'll see very shortly. Its been mainly all played with London City FC but obviously the last two years have seen me take on the England role to which probably adds about twenty or thirty matches to my management tally, still a very good tally and won't be long till I hit 1000 at club level too.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/VjkJYvpGcHubQvONeRIUZyvcslFXpDVQyPZ9bQDb.png

Another very good month at the club, obviously the top result I've already shown and reported on so lets get stuck in from the first league game. Us welcoming Middlesbrough and well, it was a hammering, we hit them for five with goals from Mojovic, Nowocien (x2) Arregui and Brieire. A one all draw away at Spurs followed, another side we struggle to beat regularly. Our first Europa League Second knockout round saw us beat Spanish side Vigo one nil thanks to Fofana. Back to league action, despite going one nil up throuh Torres at home to stoke, we lost four one, on the end of a pummeling there. A trip to Spain to face Vigo saw us narrowly advance on away goal, we came back from one down and two one down to lead three two as Webb hit a superb hatrick. But conceded two in the final ten minutes, luckily it was enough to advance. Finally ending the month with a comfortable three one win away at Reading. Coming back from one down with Fofana leveling before the break, Nowocien and Arregui leaving it late but securing the win inside the final twenty minutes.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/u45NGZINyU5PxjjJVBJarIr1F8yoHlZPLuSLkNK0.png

Thirty league games played, eight left to play and we're still third and the likelyhood of us playing Champions League football is looking brighter and brighter by the match. Chelsea have lost another game, but still sit top and eight points clear of second place Man United. They're only two points infront of us but do have a game in hand over us and Chelsea so could close the gap yet. Arsenal are now seven points behind us in fourth but do have a game in hand and can close it to four points whilst City in fifth are ten points behind us with a game in hand.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/uNyB0K0Y7HvovPlRujPr8NTpCP7H7NXL8xcioazG.png

Finally the Europa League Quarter Final draw sees us face another Spanish side, this time Sevilla who aren't having the best of seasons, currently sat seventh in La Liga. We'll play the first leg at home in the London City Stadium hopefully in front of a capacity crowd on the 19th April before we head to Spain a week late, could we make it to the Semi Finals...

Although I'd love to see you win the Premier League I'm well aware barring a miracle that won't happen this season unless Chelsea (and Man United) start slipping up but I would love to see you secure the Europa League in what is your first ever European campaign (quote me if I'm wrong) but Sevilla are no mugs in that competition.

April is here! Two months of competitive football to go and it'd be two full months this year around due to our lengthy Europa League run we're still playing in two competitions and technically still in both competitions for the title, however it was very unlikely we'd catch Chelsea at the summit of the Premier League. We had two legs against Spanish side Sevilla awaiting us in the Europa League Quarter Final as we look to continue our run.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/iK3NENuwkNfssZCs31SFg3YYvH10gyKz9kpP2ak5.png

Another sensational month continues our hunt for a first ever Premier League and Europa League title as we get past a second Spanish side this season. We welcomed Burnley at the start of April and beat them comfortably, three one. Torres with one, along with Arregui and Nowocien from the spot. Annoyingly Brentford held us. We then welcomed Spanish side Sevilla in the Europa League and what a performance! Three goals and a clean sheet as Arregui, Nieto and Vanfleteren secured the first leg win. The return to Premier League action didn't holt us as we beat Fulham three nil, all three goals in the second half with Frik, Torres and Arregui netting. A trip to Spain saw us lose the second leg in the Europa League Quarter Final to Sevilla but only to a single goal which saw us advance, three one on aggregate and into the Semi Finals! We ended the month beating Man City, one nil with centre back Nieto converting from a spot kick.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/DUbzgWzB31DM4uKKKWbbz4tjlrTksPHuXN9DZG6h.png

Technically we're still in the Premier League title race with us sat in fourth and twelve points behind Chelsea with four games to go but its their title as far as I'm concerned. We've got a game in hand over Arsenal and Man united ahead of us in third and second and if we win we'll jump up to second which would be superb. We have secured Champions League football for next season which is a great effort by the club.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/KL3byr40j5ugADXe9VdOw8llFPjCZu1egGJxcL6u.png

What a draw for us! The Europa League Semi Final sees us face fellow English side Everton who are, at the time of the draw down in fifteenth in the Premier League but currently sit twelfth with us up in fourth. For years we struggled to get one over on Everton but the last two seasons we've finally started, I'm beginning to think about the Final! In the other Semi Final, Bayer Leverkusen will play Manchester City.

Here we go then, the final month of another big season, we were still 'technically' in the title race however it was very, very unlikely we'd clinch it as Chelsea were one point off winning it. Our main vision was now on the Europa League. I didn't think I'd be saying that a year ago when it was announced we were heading into the competition. But here we sit in the Semi Finals against fellow Premier League side Everton. We had six matches left to play, potentially seven depending if we could get past Everton with four of those games in the league.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/wgla7PrUiBDGfyssrpvdmcPg1fF0iU1OYqRnJDK7.png

We reached the Europa League Final as you can see! A superb effort as we narrowly edged past Everton and we'd face Manchester City in an all English Final. We kicked off the final month of the season with a three nil win over struggling Sheffield Wednesday. Nieto, the centre back put us ahead before Fofana doubled our lead before the break. Torres wrapped up the win twenty two minutes from time. The first leg of the Europa League Semi Final saw a goalless draw at Goodison Park with us finishing with ten men so we held on well, would of preferred an away goal though. We then welcomed Man United in the league and draw nil nil. Back to Europa League action we welcomed Everton and at half time trailed one nil, they had an away goal meaning we had to score twice. We went attacking and direct and it paid off! Webb struck after fifty eight minutes to level before Birere secured our spot in the Final eight minutes from time. We then faced Everton again, a third time in four games and just ten days and it was another draw. This time Mazurek gave us the lead before Everton stole a late point. The league season came to an end with a one nil defeat against Arsenal who finally beat us for the first time in four matches.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/fmzTZCV0fFBUV8yvPo9nd0QPxbFY6qz4lzZeKdvO.png

Chelsea are the league champions, but that seemed likely from about October time as they have had a superb season, they lost just five games in total and finished eight points clear of runners up Arsenal. Manchester United pip third place a further point off the top spot whilst they finished four points clear of us in fourth place, but we do secure Champions League football next season which is brilliant news for the club. Manchester City took fifth with Liverpool sixth, both fifteen points behind us whilst Stoke are also set for Europa League football with the former too clubs this season. At the other end of the scale, Sheffield Wednesday are relegated, winning just three games all seasons and taking home nineteen points. Watford and Fulham join them in relegation as Brentford survive by two points.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/q5yleLyaEFR71ozq71yUOvWDKHMZIncv8yYGRBaJ.png

Close! So close to our first ever European adventure ending with success, the luck of the spot kick denied us. It was an 'all English' tie in the Final of the Europa League which was played at Stadie Pierre Mauroy in France. Plenty of chances for both sides to win it inside ninety minutes. Manchester City perhaps having the upper hand especially as we went into Extra time with ten men when Webb was dismissed. The game eventually went to a penalty shootout and on this occasion it went against us. Manchester City held their own winning three one after four penalties each.

I do not @VP. as it seems pointless using that. I play on full match speed, commentary only and only goal replays.

I may give the old fashioned commentary a go again then myself just to speed things up.

Shame about the Europa league, hate playing against English sides as takes away the whole point of playing in Europe to me!

So heartbreaking in the Europa League @Dan but fantastic reaching the final nonetheless & congratulations on reaching the Champions League for next season.

I use that simply to blitz through the seasons @VP. whilst still knowing what goes on in matches as instant result seems pointless and obviously you have no chance of saving results etc. It was a shame but a good effort we even made it that far.

Thanks @Shedender it just wasn't our season in the Europa League come the final hurdle, we made some good money and proved we could hold strong through two competitions by remaining in the CL places in the league, a lot of positives for sure.

My nineteenth season in management and London City FC nineteenth season in existence has come to an end and its been a sensational season whilst we may have only scooped the Community Shield title, we had a very pleasing season showing how far forward we've come over the years. A nineteenth straight season where we've finished in a better position than the year before and thats some stat! We ended up short in the cup competitions domestically, finishing the EFL Cup off in the Quarters following defeat to Man United and crashed out the FA Cup to West Ham in the Fifth Round, denying us the chance to retain our crown. But the big talking points were finishing fourth in the Premier League this season to secure our first ever entry to the Champions League along with reaching the Europa League Final, much better than anyone predicted come the start, missing out on the title to Manchester City on penalties!

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/OnUimZOAi0p2vqLDOoS8rOpOKTEwX7XNC0VGCr3c.png

The player stats speak for themselves this season and everyone sure put in a shift to help secure Champions league football next year around. Goalkeeper Grabovac who if i remember correctly is only twenty one or twenty two, broke the clubs thirteen year record for most clean sheets in a season and he'll only grow at this club. Pouget was moved to a back up but still made seven appearances. On loan defender Frik was our highest scoring defender with five goals this season, January signing centre back Nieto netted three. Renato Sanchez made just one appearance but announced his retired, he is now our under eighteens manager. Fofanam bought from PSG had a superb season scoring eleven and assisting a further fifteen goals this season. Joey Torres made the most appearances this season, playing sixty games whilst scoring sixteen and assisting fifteen. Cliff Webb had another good season, scoring twenty one goals as did Nowocien who scored twenty two in twenty six starts for us.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/cA5xkQ36ULnKLLjKrPm5Z8WwjiDsSEZpyMReykmb.png

This was the boards idea and not mine, the youth category is going up again and we'll now have a Level 2 set up, I'm not sure what the highest is, but its good to see it going again. I will also seek to improve our training and youth facilities over the summer and see if we can continue to upgrade to get the very best out of every player at the club and our academy eventually.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/2xmLy4Zosm2oZCyDfbRglqXZnlJe2y4FHnxldSLh.png

Since we've been in the Premier League we've not been in the red! Its been an astonishing turn around with good TV money and league positional money from the Premier League that has helped us. We now sit on another eighty million pounds in the balance and this sees the board trust us with over fifty million pounds once again this summer and space in the wages as well. We will spend it but spend it wisely to ensure we are improving the squad and make it one who can compete for the League title and Champions League success.

So we're about to start our twentieth league season and our fifth in the Premier League along with our first ever season in the Champions League, its fair to say this was set to be a pretty big season. I'd obviously love to be able to take the League title this season with it being our twentieth since our existence. Anyway moving on into the summer with all the transfer round up, news and the tactics and Champions League draw.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/uMr63sZbOAhDrAx3NbBYBUqsFEjEl1cqcGsOVZl0.png

Progress is progress. We have moved up forty six places, to forty fifth in the European rankings following our superb run to the Europa League Final last year around. And progress in the rich list as we moved up from twenty seventh to twenty fifth this year in the worlds richest clubs list. I'd love to break into the top twenty this year.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/lbczdFM0hjIASYJbX5XeqvdvJotly7nicIWgmpEU.png

And we'll continue our progress statements as this season our pre season previews sees the media tip us to finish eleventh this year. Its great to finally see them backing us and believing us and we're now just 45-1 to win the league title this season and if its anything like last year around we could run close. Our team rating jumped us up over a couple more teams this season.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/8K82tfDNBFlp9gRxGZ1lXMT3MEIccf86pwi2LrIy.png

Not the busiest of transfer windows for us as I realised we needed to focus more on bringing in some English faces rather than just anybody as we needed to fill homegrown player quotas now. We still managed to spend forty eight and a half million pounds bringing in five players with three of those on permanent deals and two loan deals. On the other side of things, Sanchez has retired, hes now our under eighteen manager. Eggert joined leads for an initial three point eight million whilst Charmasson joins Plymouth for seven hundred thousand pounds.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/WgXTvSQV6BLBbEoQEcWHTCECZlXtIGaeL4JcukT8.png

Here are the new faces and I'm hoping they're all going to pull their weight this season. Nigel Guest looks a very good striker whilst Bird will be more of a backup Englishman to add to our squad. Our other full time signing is Manuel Hoppe who I think will lead our back line for the next few years as the German signs for twenty three million pounds. Both Loanees look solid players and will get game time.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/T0LmsgHuUL0NS45wW0lUM0l8quUseZmPyGS5q29Z.png

A strong squad, I'm not sure if its a title winning side yet though as there are a few weaker areas in the squad still but we do have money left to spend in the transfer window and areas to strengthen if we can find the right players.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/jmJFCAGWYH6zFo0OdAuxhC9eRH7BRCTny3iGZqZV.png

The summer on the pitch as always busy but successful enough for us. It proved to be a slow start drawing to Grasshopers then losing to FC Red Bull Salzburg but we pulled it back by winning our next five games, four of those without conceding a goal. We beat Alloa four nil, Braintree just one nil and AEK three nil, all away from home. Smashing Dijon at home seven nil before ending the summer with a three one win over Stevenage.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/1THornlHnLPySZVlP5TWG3zdIzndl0LBNlcK2eMQ.png

Our Champions League season will begin with a two legged tie with Portugal side Vit. Guimaraes. In my eyes we should be winning this tie and reaching the group stage. But we will need to guard against complacency and ensure we don't crash out before the groups.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/SAhgeyA2ExC1TAMTRam6HArTUqpjnVrvmFa8PiLz.png

Here are the three tactics I'll be playing this season and the players who would be playing in the set places should they be fit. Grbovac obviously starts in goal for all three formations as he is by far our strongest player in the squad. The formation on the left is @VP. undefeated formation he has uploaded so I'll be giving it a go whilst sticking with my own 4-2-2-2 formation on the right and a more defensive 4-4-1-1 to counter bigger teams.

Season twenty is kicking off and once again at the end of this season we'll do another yearly round up. But anyway we need to focus on this season and try to finish in the top four once again this year. We're looking to take another step forward for the twentieth season in a row and finish inside the top three. We started the season with plenty of Premier League action as well as beginning our first ever Champions League campaign.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/hBXFNMULHn1G1z9FYOVuCjg9a9IxcUPJ6HZ7m2ze.png

Not a bad way to start the season, annoying to lose our first match especially at home against a newly promoted Cardiff side, but things then improved to see us win our next four games straight. As I said, we began with a two nil defeat against Cardiff before traveling to West Ham and winning the London derby two one. An own goal and one for Torres to start his season secured the victory. The Champions League saw us start in the Best place playoff and we beat Vit.Guiaraes two one at home, newly signed Guest struck twice for us. Staying at home we welcomed Manchester United and beat them two one, another two goals for Torres as he secured the win for us. Finally the month ended with a fourth straight win, a second against Vit.Guimaraes with us beating them in the Second leg three one. We come from behind with Fofana netting a brace and Burkhard also on target as we reach the group stage.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/Vq3mc5RATwaHW4uZyk56ww5IMnC82dxprl3nzhO8.png

Ninth in the league after the opening four games, the opening day defeat to Cardiff definitely cost us a superb start and turning it into a good start. Hopefully we can knuckle down now and sort some constant form out, get ourselves in and around the Champions League places as early as possible to secure it and help us hold on to our better players.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/sUYcn2vO0PVTe33SIlBqNquKNadHsfDQD4KCDeRC.png

Oh ffs! Thanks then, what a group that is for us! Our group consists of us, French giants Paris Saint-Germain along with German giants Bayern. The fourth and final team in our group are another big side, Sporting from Portugal and it'll be very hard to meet the boards expectations of reaching the First Knockout Round.

London City FC - September 2035

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/oFeNEjb6C6kYaABAgFXU13ACkXTudtB9389kQu7k.pnghttps://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/y0pglcfICt3nJTUH67CgbJNVpPp8kylkughrespk.pnghttps://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/q8HpGnXQvdr5RQxhW2zXL9AgEoL4Al12FuHnp1yK.pnghttps://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/TAo3wMo6AJz4PNTkzEj3V4AbCO5M80rPZGBROcJd.png

Following a slow starting opener of the season we went on to win our next four matches across the league and cup competitions. Now we head into September, the second month of the twentieth season and we're beginning our EFL Cup run, along with beginning the group stage of the Europa League and hopefully continuing a strong start to life in the Premier League, lets see how it panned out. Also, some big club news on hand again.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/mnpFwKfBvEtS5mgTgTSlq4MM5eaIEojGD3x5hG2K.png

Well, we are improving the youth facilities again, hopefully getting close, or closer to state of the art facilities. We still can't improve the training facilities but least the youth ones are on the rise.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/bxmbNb1op2clFRE4luoUlTAHMcEEMTGAhmOISnIf.png

Six matches throughout September and we managed to win four of those games and lose the remaining two and they were tough matches. A trip to Leicester saw us win our fifth straight league game as Guest netted the only goal of the match. And made it six wins on the bounce when we welcomed Wolves and won two nil, Nieto and Acuna both netting and keeping a second clean sheet on the bounce. A trip to France, against the capital Paris St Germain and we lost, heavily, four nil, perhaps showing the gulf in class but we were in the game, just couldn't take our chances. Back in England, a trip to Man City saw us narrowly lose out three two, Torres netting both our goals. Our EFL Cup journey began against Championship side Nottingham Forest, Torres gave us the lead but we conceded late on, going on to win on penalties, three one. Finally ending the month at home against Chelsea, winning two one with a late first half goal for Guest and a late second half goal from Fofana.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/0SbLF2HSNhieHYZENCXwMZnP05mUqpvgsKHupPtW.png

Manchester United lead the way after seven league games with six wins and one defeat each, they've both started very strongly this season. United especially with a plus thirteen goal difference. Manchester City occupy third, with us fourth a further point behind again. Early days, of course but we are already there or there abouts to where we should be in my eyes and title challenging again. Liverpool are slow out the blocks this season.

Looking good in the league, that Champions League group is difficult to say the least; hopefully you can sneak a Europa League qualification out of it at least.
