Aye I'm not denying that...but at the same time the only person Fury has fought that is above the standard of AJ's opponents too is Klitschko... maybe Chisora at a push but he has always been overrated because he is British too. Anyway my point is Fury's previous 20 something opponents were all that standard too and he looked a lot less impressive in getting past them. He doesn't have that great a chin and has been put down a few times in his career by domestic level journeymen, his technique is poor and sloppy and he has nowhere near as much power as someone his size should. However his defence has drastically improved.

He obviously gets credit for beating Klitschko, its a great achievement and no-one really expected it, but i think the majority of the reason for that was him not showing up or giving Fury too much respect - i mean he barely threw a punch the whole fight whilst Fury just erratically bounced around barely throwing punches either. If Klitschko still has the hunger he should win the rematch comfortably... but if not Fury will get found out against the likes of Povetkin, Wilder, Haye and AJ. Boxers who I feel have better technique, punch variety, boxing skills and would have no fear of Fury. The main reason I think AJ would beat him now is simply the power aspect. I feel like Joshua could take Fury's punches all night, whereas Fury's best hope would be to try and avoid them like he did with Klitschko... only Joshua is younger, more mobile and hungrier and would be confident in his power. He'd only need a couple to connect and it would be over.

I don't know, I just think at this point in their respective careers (and providing Fury gets past Klitschko which is by no means a given as you say) I feel like Fury's a pretty poor match up for AJ. Of course, you are right, that Joshua's power means he's always in the conversation, but I just don't see him out boxing anyone of that ilk (except maybe Wilder, but I haven't seen much of him and am going on reputation) at this point in time. Not to say he never will be able to, I thought the brief glimpses we saw of Joshua as a fighter at the weekend evidenced an improvement from the White fight, just at this point I think Joshua gets outboxed in a matchup vs Fury.

To be fair the punch he took would have felled most people.

Wonder whats next for him.

He's probably just trolling, but either way its probably silly money and Mayweather won't hurt him. Easy pay day for him, even if he would lose a boxing match.

Probably another couple of years of dodging Kell Brook, or getting beat by Danny Garcia again

What?

Kell Brook & that bell Eddie Hearn is the one ducking any half decent fighter available. Khan has balls of steel in comparison

Brook didn't really stand a chance against Golovkin now did he. Man, that guy's a beast. I wanna see triple G put Eubank jr to sleep too.

Yeah Golovkin/Eubank Jnr would have an even quicker finish imo. Has a very poor defence, GGG would have a field day.

Haye v Bellew tonight.

Have stuck €20 on it to go to a decision and Bellew to win it.

How's everyone see it going?

That my friend is €20 down the drain. Think Bellew could end up in a coma, there's no actual reason as to why Bellew stands any chance against Haye

It could well be yeah. All week I've told people at work I think Haye will knock him out, but the odds were good and if Haye wasn't training proper and isn't up for it then maybe Bellew will pull off a shock, but only be decision

Nearly struck lucky there Kev. That was the only way Bellew was getting a win against Haye there

So glad Bellew won as no one had given him a hope in hell in beating Haye, regardless of how it was.

Only watched the fight today, explosive stuff from both AJ and Klitschko. Thought AJ was a goner in round six with that right hook and seven looked shaky too but he recovered to deliver that outstanding uppercut when Klitschko just had nothing left in the tank. I'd like to think Tyson Fury is next but I'd personally like to see him go head to head with Deontay Wilder first because that would be a huge test to his strengths.
