Not sure if you watched the match last night, but after Di Maria butchered the 2 on 1 I turned and said to the girlfriend they'll regret not scoring there.
Low and behold they did in the end. Perfect as well, considering Di Maria was ssshhhhing the Barcelona fans like a complete cunt after Cavani scored.

True, but we aren't talking about Chelsea\City\United\Asenal.... Leicester are doing shit in the league and great in the CL. Sevilla are a great team so I completely understand the hype around them. They really are underdogs wherever they would play in the CL in the next round and hopefully that will only do them good.

True. A backline of Clichy-Kolarov-Stones-Sagna just makes you think what is happening in his head! Not that they have many options (Otamendi is terrible most games) but that is something you would have thought they'd deal with in January.

Well the backline is what it is (its shocking given the money they've spent on it, but we all knew that) but its picking that backline with just Fernandinho in front of them thats the real issue.
Not just because of the lack of protection it gave them, but because of how little they had in the build up too.
De Bruyne having a bad first half anyway didn't help, but I'm not sure that deeper role suits him at all.

Guess time will tell, but so far it's not been close to what you'd have expected, apart for maybe the first month or two.
