You know you played like shit when you can't even score against West Ham, it was almost like they used all their motivation in the Arsenal game. CL football is pretty much there due to our goal difference over Man Utd and one more point will get us 2nd. I honestly didn't expect us to be up there again this season so i'll take 2nd and hope Liverpool and Man City can hang on to 3rd and 4th.

Hull would have seen today as a chance to extend their lead over Swansea, looking at both team's fixtures. Couldn't have gone any worse for them! Advantage Swansea now.

I think the difference is that Swansea could easily survive a season in the Championship and bounce back from it. Hull would rip themselves apart everywhere, squad, staff, fans and owner.

Liverpool doing their best to bottle a top four, admittedly Southampton did have Mourinhos bus parked today probably why united are losing now.

How happy are Arsenal fans are about this win? Surely if you don't get CL and Wenger stays, it only hurts you!

We could finish 16th and Wenger would still be here next season, he's clearly got a job for life

Since joining Arsenal has Welbeck done anything except scoring against United?

Poor performance, very lethargic. Tuanzebe was our best player which was quite worrying. Jones and Smalling should leave in the summer. Rooney as well obviously, and we need to replace Carrick.

Mourinho has now never won at the Emirates in the League and his team's have only scored 1 goal at the ground. His side now has also not won away against the top 6, and has failed to score a single goal in them matches

Worrying for United fans

They've had a weird season, Man U. Long unbeaten run that was north of 25 games in the PL, mainly cohesive style, most of their new signings have looked good, could well end up winning the Europa League, and yet they've been oddly shit at getting results when they need them most. Usually at OT but yeah, their away form at the other top clubs has also been shite.

Just need an entire new defence. Shaw will be pushed out, which might be the kick up the backside he needs. Bailly is probably the only one who should and will stay. It'll all properly go to shit when Ajax beat them in the final anyways!

I'm fairly confident this statement will be largely true.

Mourinho usually takes a few months/season to set his stall. Hoping we can bring in a new striker and go from there.

The home form has to be fixed, we've dropped so many points against sides we should be beating 90% of the time.

I've been writing it over and over again, The Shining esque. If we're not fine next season I'll just give up my optimism.

I'm already overly pessimistic about the Europa League anyway!

Just think the majority of those home draws we absolutely dominated, if we turned just some of those into wins we'd probably be 2nd. A new striker, a replacement for Carrick and a couple defenders at least for me. Oh and get rid of Rooney obviously!

Bye Boro, no one will miss you.

Hope you get a more adventurous manager not in the Mourinho mould next time ! Or rather, one that the board get on with .

I can understand why you'd want those players out, but has Smalling really been that bad? Only ask because I haven't really watched Man Utd this year and he was one of the best in the league last season.

Yeah that will most likely change on Sunday. Hope we murder them though, don't think I could stand the sight of that smug little wanker leaving the last ever game at WHL with a win.

He's too average to play for United, he hasn't improved enough to be our main CB. He's had many chances but he hasn't really improved in the past couple of years. He's 27 and unlikely to improve.

I imagine it's related to Football Leaks yesterday who reporter that his agent is getting around £40M from the deal - which is obscene.

He apparently represented Juventus, United and Pogba for the deal.

It's a shame that the English press will never rate Xhaka or Özil, they're brainwashing people in to never actually watch them play football

No doubt that Ozil is a quality player.

Xhaka on the other hand, he's not done anything yet really, he's still young... Maybe in 2-3 years we'll talk about him being quality!
