Aye, what did happen to that young Norwegian kid who went to Real Madrid?

He only recently turned 18, has made his debut for Real Madrid already (their youngest ever player), and is on an 18 month loan right now.

He might have played more already for another team, but its definitely not gone badly for him so far.

So is Sakho still at Liverpool?

Might be time for them to forgive and forget as he is their best central defender and they need him!

And we sign the might Neil Danns on loan from Bury. Lauded by some of their fans as one of the worst players to pull on a shirt.

Several different news sources are saying Alexis Sanchez was dropped for a row with teammates that got physical.

Can't help but think he'll be playing elsewhere next season tbh.

He'll almost certainly leave. At 28 he's not got many years left at his best!

Can certainly see him ending up back in Spain or Germany. Can't imagine Arsenal will want to sell to anyone in the PL.

He's 100% leaving. Think he'll go PSG.

The club are desperately trying to get all the negativity away from the board and Arsene at the minute but it isn't working, their fluff pieces which went to every tabloid at the exact same time (weird coincidence, that) have just made more people of Alexis' side than anything else.

Sanchez has pissed me off a lot this season. His general demeanour has been dreadful and he acts like a cunt all the time, constantly moaning and groaning. I can understand his frustration but his professionalism has been a joke no matter how bad he feels his teammates are.

Can't wait til this season ends. Don't care where we finish, just bin Alexis and Arsene and start from anew.

Think we actually agree on something.

Sanchez is literally like Henry when he was at Arsenal. Just Henry was surrounded by much better players (that he still sulked and whinged at)

Seems as if Alexis, Özil and Oxlade-Chamberlain are all set to leave in the summer.

Somehow Wenger is going to stay and the two year contract offered to him is still sitting there, ready for him to sign.

Unbelievable.

Just seen Lukaku is going to reject a new contract at Everton, bit of a dick move, but not much of a surprise.

He was always better than Everton and I would love him at United. With Rooney and Ibra seemingly both off then getting Lukaku is a great step with someone else in as backup with Rashford.

He'll end up back at Chelsea I'd imagine

I think Chelsea too. I can't see him joining United.

Chelsea will do what Chelsea do any buy him back for an absolute fuck ton, imagine he'll go for 80 odd million (unless his contract is running out)

Would like to see him at Brighton, talk of them going for Terry as well.

It's a shrewd move by him really.

No transfer fee, more wages! Just what a player needs towards the end of his career and he has shown he can still perform to a decent level in the top flight.

@King Luis I agree in that I'd like to see him there, or Bournemouth. Who knows though, a proven goal scorer in the top league could attract "bigger" teams.

Wouldn't say no to him at liverpool tbh, not the fanciest striker by any means but he scores goals

Surely he's just an older Sturridge though, who doesn't really fit the system there at the mo.

Yeah signing a player like Defoe would be a step back for us, a club hoping to be challenging for the title shouldn't be signing 34 year olds.

(Ibra was the exception to the rule)

From the BBC Gossip column:

Barcelona have been linked with a move for Tottenham midfielder Moussa Sissoko, but AC Milan and Real Madrid are also interested in the 27-year-old France international.

No Defoe in the Sunderland squad today, not even on the bench. Guess he is definitely leaving (who can blame him). Where will he end up!?

Early reports are linking him with a move to Bournemouth, I can see that working out for him.
