Of course I'm annoyed, but there still is somewhat of an unwritten rule that there is no need to rub salt in the wounds etc, by excessively celebrating. Unless of course you're a team desperate to distract from the fact they've already out the title race before the new year.

Fuck me you are unbelievable.

Giroud has been out injured and maybe not been as free scoring as he would have liked to be when playing. Look back at any of his goals and he always seems happier than most strikers to score, plus the 5th was the goal that won the game so that was rightly celebrated. The seventh was Walcott's hat trick goal so he has every right to celebrate that.

We're a team that has been under immense pressure recently and the relief of giving the fans something back (whatever the score) is clear to see in our reactions to goals. It's quite sad that you feel that a player should only celebrate if the goal apparently means something, well to me every goal my team scores means something to me and should be rightly celebrated as that is the whole point of what we cheer our teams on to do, score.

But how celebrating goals distracts fans from where we are in the league only you must know.

Edit: And i'll also add that celebrating in front of your OWN fans at home at the complete opposite end of the stadium, does not rub salt into any wound the opposition may have. Unless its your own manager as Pardew is pretty good at acting a complete cunt when his teams score.

Yeah hopefully we turn up like we did when we played Norwich, just need to make sure we dont let them get in front otherwise i can see it being a long day.

Couple of useless stats i heard yesterday, Walcott has the best goals to shots ratio out of any striker in the league and it took us until February last season to score the amount of goals we have done so far this campaign. Who needs Van Persie?
