Well that's wrong. In both his final two seasons at Burnley he had double figures in the League alone, with the latter of those seasons being in the Premier League.
Barely played 10 games at Liverpool overall, but 2 goals in 6 games for them in the league isn't bad for someone who has had his luck with injuries!
I'm hoping he gets a chance this season and has more luck with injuries.
Anyways, the bookies seem to be backing Kane to United. Surely not though? Neither Levy, or Kane, can be that greedy?!

Why curious? Chelsea are heavily involved with chasing Bakayoko from Monaco so I'd imagine Conte is alright with seeing Matic go. Mourinho has managed him in the past so knows what he is getting and needs to shore up the midfield at United, no?
Carroll.
What? Are you counting his time with us here or not cause I'm not sure how you got those figures.
Considering he was still 21/22 his last two seasons with Burnley were very good, and he started promising with us. He's a decent player. Although you rarely come back from this much out
VP.
I'd imagine he'll be delighted he's going for a few quid seeing as he's absolutely terrible, take Kante away from him and he's useless.
Grimnir
Also, I'd rather Matic over Fellaini.
VP.
Yeah he's better than Fellaini in that position but that's mainly because (for me anyway) Fellaini isn't DM, he needs to be played further forward as his best attributes are only really any good in the final third/oppositions penalty box. Place him anywhere else on the pitch (other than defending set pieces) and he offers nothing to the team.

Even then, I still don't rate Fellaini. He's a hairy Peter Crouch but nowhere near as useful. A liability too. Matic will come in and help provide some sort of stability and shield in front of what has been a disturbed back four at United. Speaking of Belgian midfielders, United seem hot on the tail of Nainggolan too from Roma and Morata seems another player they have their hands on...so plenty of potential incomings but no outgoings yet! There seems to be an invisible force holding off transfers that I'm hoping will break soon with some major transfer kicking it all off.

While Matic may not be as highly rated by Chelsea fans as I clearly thought, it still strikes me as strengthening a potential direct trophy rival.
To be fair Kante is a powerhouse capable of doing the work of 2/3 midfielders at once, so yeah, I can get why Matic would be overshadowed. But still seems like a useful option for them to have.

Meh. Just gotta hope Alexis stays.

10 pens in the League last season.
Don't really think he's a better striker than Giroud hopefully a much better fit for our style. That's what I'm banking on. Ornstein says the deal is close to completion and Alexis has been offered a 'big' contract from the club, but if he wants to leave then it's likely we'll try and get an acceptable offer and sell him this summer (to City) than let him go for free the next.
Same old Arsenal, 1 step forward and 2 steps back. Still think he'll stay though

Also Saúl signs a nine year contract (technically five plus a trigger clause) with Atlético.
Grimnir
Don't think it's odd, they need a back up keeper and they got one cheap, has experience in the league and is happy to sit on the bench for 99% of a season.
They sold Begovic to Bournemouth so needed someone to replace him.
DNZY
I know, hence the statement that followed.
VP.
If Giroud could run he'd be getting 25+ plus goals a season for us but the way he plays rarely suits the team and at times is just a passenger, which isn't always his fault as we simply don't play in a way where we will ever see the best of him. The only times we seem to change to suit him is when he comes off the bench, which explains why he always looks very good then. Lacazette will suit us and we may hopefully see Ozil's stats increase even more as a lot of his problems are to do with whats in front him, he needs a striker making runs not dropping deep to get the ball of him.
Also just seen that Marseille have reportedly offered around £24m for Giroud so that may well be him gone now.

Everton seem to be doing a great job using the Lukaku money they will get!

Can't believe Arsenal are making a better signing than us
We need to sign someone damn it!

Rudiger?
chokosc
I'll take almost anyone really. A CB would be nice and Ruidger would be useful for sure. We just need to finalise the deals I guess.
a RWB is a must though!

Edit - just checked the PL thread and seen Terriersmad has talked about their new signings there.
