Put the individual files that you want directly into Documents/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2017/editor data

Anything contained within sub-folders in this folder will not be read by the game.

If you installed the files correctly, you should have the nations you have chosen available to select when you start a new game.
That means I can not activate the files with already saved game???

Hey man great work getting the USA & Australia lower leagues, quick question does the USA one conflict with the MLS as ion does it affect the draft? Same sorta question with Australia does it conflict with the A loge as I wanna do a long term save with both those files in. Thanks again for the good work!!

Could you please tell me how I can install the databases? I have put the unzipped files in the "editor data", but they are not recognized by the Football Manager (new game). What can I do?
Thank you.

They are directly in editor data and not in any other sub-folders, indeed (the files in editor data are named Africa, Asia e.t.c.). Starting a new game, Football Manager does not recognize these files in editor data. Can I do anything?

You need to take the fmf files out of the folders named Africa, Asia etc. and place them directly in editor data, i.e. not in sub-folders. Can I have a screenshot of your editor data folder?

I did as you said. The game recognized all the files.
Thank you.

The game crashes, i tried to start and run a new save with all 54 european leagues. The database was only 12,000 players, so it shouldn't be that. Maybe one of the other editor data is conflicting?
It crashed right after i selected all leagues, and as the database was loading.

There seem to be a problem with Japanese clubs, and that is that once a game is created and you take over a team, the "Club" link on the left starts redirecting to "Squad" instead of the club overview (which means the club overview, in so far as I can discern, is inaccessible).Seemed restricted to Japan where I got the same issue with two clubs (Nara Club and Verdy, I have no reason to assume any other clubs would be different). Didn't encounter the issue in Chad or East Timor.

This is a hard-coded issue with club licensing for all Japanese teams. It's also the case for the Japan national team, and there's nothing which can be done to work around it...

Really? Aww man, that sucks. So there is really no way to access the Club Overview page for Japanese clubs?
