Looks like Celtic thought about bottling it for a little while there.

Hoping for a good game at Anfield tonight.

You lot to get the job done, but only just.
Carroll.
Off to the game later, really expecting a comfortable win, so we'll lose 1-0 and go through on away goals.

Throughout the past 3 season i'd easily say we're the most well traveled team in this competition, despite not making it to the latter stages. Certainly have to be up there anyway. It is an absolute farce a nation that borders China has teams in this competition.
despite the defeat, 3 goals away from home, being down 3-1 and finishing 4-3 shows how great out resilience is with Rodgers. Under Deila and Lennon I reckon we'd have been put out (we certainly wouldn't have put 5 past them at home anyway) under those circumstances.
Seen the pots as they stand at the moment Barca are in pot 2?

A rather comfortable win in the end which was surprising.
Fear for Liverpool though in the group stages.
A poor defence that could concede plenty and if teams manage Mane you won't have much else going for you.
Carroll.
Just got back in.. left Birmingham at 4pm, didn't get there till half 7, why the fuck are road works absolutely every where.
Also club massively fucked up, loads of fans had old members cards (including myself) which wouldn't work, no emails or anything about it, so had to que for fucking ages to sort out. Missed 35 mins of the game and 4 goals ffs, will be lots of angry emails tomorrow I reckon.
Anyhow good to see us so fluid up front and playing with confidence, despite missing Coutinho. Salah looks fucking awesome. Like Mane, but with a better first touch (Mane's had some horrible touches lately, and slips a lot, did spot it last season and was wondering whether longer studs might help..). Defence is still a bit meh, but didn't do too bad and I think they knew they had a cushion and lacked some concentration.
Seen the pots, and oh my Pot Two could be considered worse than Pot 1. Would obviously take anyone 5-8 from pot 1, and would rather miss Barca than PSG but could really get fucked with the draw tomorrow. Imagine Real, PSG and Sporting, or Bayern and Barca combo. Going to be a few big clashes.
Either way I'm quietly looking forward to it. Atmosphere was good considering it was only a play off qualifier and so early on in the season, and none of these teams will want to come to Anfield. Plus Klopps record vs Top 6 last year he might be able to handle the bigger teams a bit better. It's good to be back.

Carroll.
5 British teams fucked up the draw I think. Pretty sure when we were drawn, group D (with Juve and Barca) should have been available? It was greyed out to keep two English team in A-D, and two English teams in E-H for TV purposes. But as there was 5 teams there was always going to be 3 on one side, so Spurs after us, it wasn't greyed out anymore...

Did you not see Uniteds group? Honestly think they'll be happiest with the draw for the British clubs. Liverpoo should qualify and think it'l be between them and Sevilla for the top spot.
Can't see Spurs advancing, Chelsea could also face a tricky route through too as Roma (third seeds) aren't exactly a walk over along with AT Madrid as well.
Grimnir
Honestly, no I didn't. What else do we expect from Man United though, they usually get a nice draw in such things! So okay, they have the best chance... followed by Liverpool.
Spurs and Chelsea will be in the Europa League come New Year!
