Something tells me you're exaggerating just a little bit.

I'm probably not, that really is how lowly i rate him and what difference i feel he'll make to our side.

Gibbs' move to Watford looks to be off due to not being able to agree personal terms, but that's what happens when you pay mediocre players more a week than they are actually worth. He's rumored to be on around £65k a week and i cannot see any club at his 'level' willing to pay that.

We're also possibly back in for Johnny Evans, I'm guessing he'll be used to replace Sanchez on the left wing going by some of the team selection against Liverpool.

Monaco have had a bid for Balde accepted, could bode well for our pursuit of Lemar

Only 28 million for him as well. Think they are making some decent signings. Not going to win the CL but could really push PSG to a title race.

Twitter is going off today. Van Dijk still a possibility apparently

Sakho looks to be gone. Not sure if I'm 100% happy on it, wish Klopp would put the grudge behind them as he's a half decent defender. Would have Van Dijk and Matip as main pair, then Lovren and Sakho as back up following CL / or cup games, with Klavan as 5th choice. Moreno / Robertson (and Milner) left back, Clyne (when he's back), TAA and Gomez at right back actually gives us a shit load of cover. Completely forgot we still got Jon Flanagan who was class in 13/14, would love him to come back to that form. Could have used Keita in midfield this year, but think our squad isn't as thin as people make out. At this moment I don't see where Coutinho plays.

Absolutely love Raheem Sterling. Think he has the highest ceiling of any English player for a long, long time. Alexis will eventually force the issue, and cash + Raheem wouldn't be the worst idea so long as we also got a winger for the other side.

In an ideal world we'd keep Alexis but life is shit. At least giving them the League stops Mourinho getting his cunty hands on it again

I mean Sterling's just another guy who will want out when the opportunity arises, and Kroenke probably just sees him as another asset that he can sell at a profit a few years down the road.

Not that beggars can be choosers...

Seems like Ox isn't coming to us anyways. Not that big of a loss I think. 40m for a player on his last year of the contract to play him in a position he isn't fully comfortable with... Sounds like a disaster waiting to happen.

Drinkwater is said to have handed a transfer request. Seems like that one will happen.

We really do need a RB above all so hope we manage to get a decent one before the window closes.

Jack Wilshere appears to be today's player for sale, with him reportedly being offered to Real Betis. Which does seem a little strange.

He has to get out of England. Can't see any PL team taking the risk with him due to injuries and probably a fairly high wage.

Deal for Ox is done by the looks of it, 35 million. Works for all parties, he wants to play central and we need more backup there, still talking to Monaco about Lemar as well apparently

Why are no big clubs going in for Krychowiak? Or Renato Sanches for that matter

Krychowiak isn't that good and Renato Sanches' stock has fallen dramatically. Bayern not convinced by his technical quality by any means, better suited to the Prem in all fairness. Clement factor probs also big

Krychowiak is class. Would take him here in a heart beat. Can see him going somewhere bigger next season or in two years for big money.

Renato Sanches agree slightly, but surely worth a punt.

Don't think big clubs can afford to have a player on his wages at the club with no option to buy at the end of it anyway RE: Krych

I thought initially he was supposed to be permanent ? Was more Sanches I heard the loan deals floating about.

Saw that Krych is a loan with no option to buy, Renato €5m initial loan fee, €30m to make it permanent

Great deal really! Krych might just be past it. Don't think a decent season at WBA will even be enough after this dreadful season he had.

Always forget how fucking mental people are about transfers.

Also big fan of the 'need signings in early brigade' are the exact same people as they complaining that they're team aren't pushing through last minute panic buys.

Can't say I've seen that myself from Arsenal fans and if any have wanted last minute buys that'll only be to replace the Ox and Sanchez who will both hopefully go today. Though admittedly the positions they play are not what we're lacking, its the center of midfield where we are shocking but absolutely zero sign of anyone coming in there. Especially with the club just coming out and saying they're 'happy' with things at the moment...

Second bid for Sanchez from City. £55M + £5M in addons. City obviously wary of FFP!

Arsenal also interested in Lemar.

Not 100% sure on what to think regarding the Ox deal, hes an okay player but is there currently room for him especially in centre mid where he now wants to play. We already have the likes of hendo, coutinho, can even lallana who can fit in there. Looks like VVD isn't going to happen today which is frustrating, the one area I felt Liverpool had to strengthen this summer.

Superb business from Swansea to get Renato Sanches, really surprised a 'bigger' side didn't go for him, the likes of Everton, Spurs, even Chelsea/Arsenal, think he'll be class in the Prem personally and clearly over looked at Bayern atm.

Can Arsenal really afford to let Sanchez leave without finding a replacement as well as letting Ox go earlier this morning? Rumors they're back in for Lemar but it doesn't look great for a new signing to see so many 'unhappy' players off etc and with Ozil hes clearly staying, but final year of his contact too? He'll surely just leave on a free next year now?
