Was a top game, end to end etc. Galatasaray slightly better at times I thought. Should've had a penalty in the first minute and at the end. We should have had another but we probably wouldn't of put it away. Nani still showing consistency at being inconsistent, was decent in stages, awful the rest of the time. Kagawa played well, RVP quiet, Scholes a genius, Rafael top notch, Valencia wasteful with crosses but great wing play. De Gea's double save was good. They hit the woodwork twice, deserved a point, we were lucky,

Top analysis that.

We could have had 3 or 4 penalties to be honest, but they should have had 2 as well. Stark had a mare.

Watched the highlights for all the games just there. From what ITV had on their massive (one-minute odd) highlights reel, Galatasaray were unlucky in the grand scheme of things. Obviously watching the full game would have been better.
Celtic looked awful against Benfica, and am I right in saying they didn't even get a shot away? That's embarrassing. Benfica are a good side like, but that's terrible.
From what I saw from Chelsea v Juventus, Oscar looks like a class act. His second was amazing. So was Vidal's though, who's one of my favourite players at the moment. In fact, I like a lot of Juventus players. Good for them to come back. They seem to be able to do that a lot. Good graft.

Edit- As for Arsenal, a win's a win but it was quite fortuitous that Montpellier's shooting was woeful. Quite funny to think that if Giroud had been playing for them it might have been a different scoreline.

Oscar's goal was sensational and oozed class.

Chelsea really need to sort themselves out though, very much over this Ramires playing on the right and having Lampard play in the holding role. Neither excel in those positions and at times (particularly Lampard), leave the defence exposed.

That said, good to see Juve graft out another good comeback. It's something that's been very much instilled since Conte joined and shows with the players he's brought in.

Hopefully both clubs progress through the group.

Juventus still have a few issues to work out, but that was expected considering they're playing in the competition for the first time since 2009.

Nerves are still there, but that'll quickly go away, maybe even as early as the next match against Nordsjaelland. We need more on target shots, we sucked horribly with that, the passes were so erratic and we basically took shots just to say "Alright, we tried".

That being said, if we can get at least 3 points against Shakhtar, we're probably going to the round of sixteen. I doubt we'll win the group but you never know, especially when Chelsea have to travel to our stadium and Ukraine is a hard place to get a result.

Yer man who filmed it said this:
Thanks for noticing my footage. Unfortunately it did take me a little while to get the camera out of my pocket and start filming. I can see how the timing makes it look like the city fans weren't entirely without fault, and I wish I'd started filming as soon as the police came over, thenyou'd really see how unprovoked it all was

Celtic have been working the counter attack game well. I'd say a draw is probably a fair reflection of the game, but that was the worst possible time for Celtic to concede. I reckon they'll be happy to settle for the draw.

That was very nearly one of the worst refereeing decisions in the history of the game surely.
