Jorgensen and Dubravka both seem worse than what we've already got.

Dubravka has 9 caps for the Czech Republic. Everton legend Jan Mucha has been number 1. - Jorgensen seems like a much worse, less prolific Mitrovic.

I think Benitez might have actually lost it years ago....

Might be hard for Dubravka to be get more caps for the Czech Republic given he's a Slovakian keeper. Faintly unremarkable an intent, mind. Although with any luck he won't be Sels flappy if he turns up.

I'm still not convinced anyone will be joining tbf.

Yeah but that's the point. Benitez completely unnecessarily bought a GK - who was worse than what we've got. - And he seems determined to do it again.

Against Swansea - the 'megafans' were eager to point out that Benitez' team was a 'Championship' one - and their wrong conclusion was Benitez hasn't made any signings generally don't improve on what we had. Like if we sign Dubravka - that's £10m on Goalies - who are worse than two reasonable ones we've got - which could be spent elsewhere....Then again the glamour signings of Lejeune, Gayle, Ritchie and Murphy suggest it would have been wasted anyway.

Anyway if we do sign Jorgensen and Dubravka - that means we will have spent roughly £70m - with only unwanted players Hanley and De Jong sold - for about £65m net. - Benitez will still be viewed as above criticism and everyone will say he hasn't been backed.

What a chore this season is turning out to be.

Irritatingly, there'd have been a bit more security had either the lead been preserved or Joselu could finish.

Christ Chelsea are bad at the moment.

Spurs were completely dominant against United. Fellaini got subbed a few minutes after he came on, not sure if he was injured.....

Still as tight as ever in the bottom half, mainly because they all seem to draw with each other and generally seem incapable of winning.

Kennedy looks really great. - We've finally replaced Sammy Ameobi

And tbf - well on top - take off your best player - and sit back against a team with little aside about them aside from pumping balls into the box.

Would be nice to see us have a bit of a go v Man United tomorrow. After early success against them, it'd be good to get back on track against them and go back to the fearless pressing from early season. We've walked out beaten too often against the top 6 and not given them a game. The fact that Sanchez on his own earns more than our entire squad should be a spur, not a setback.

Liverpool were very good, but we sat back and just let them knock it about too much. That said, much of the criticism we've come in for has been unfair and unwarranted. What do people expect us to do against sides who regularly rip good sides to shreds with their pace and invention? Try and match them man for man? Because that's suicide.

Guardiola has spent £698743653m on players and still only names 6 subs today, must also be a great confidence boost to a lot of the youth players there knowing that your boss would rather have less players in the matchday squad than put you one the bench.

Over £100m of defensive players there and they defend like a pub team. Meanwhile Ademola Lookman scores the winner for Leipzig on his debut after the fat dinosaur said he shouldn't go there. So glad he only lasted 1 game as England manager, even if it means putting up with Southgate.

His comments about Lookman were absolutely pathetic, personally i think its great that we have players like Sancho, Lookman wanting to go and play in the Bundesliga, they learn a lot more there than they would coming on for the last 10 minutes in games here.

They actually get to play! Look at Michy scoring 2 and getting an assist on his debut.

I feel for the fans. After this and refusing to pay the money for Sanchez. - You've got to question the ambition. The board needs to go.

At some point, the "at least we didn't lose" positive isn't going to be enough. Especially given our fixture list has already used up most of our 6 pointers. Saying that, a team with more accurate shooters than Palace would've run away with it after half time.

Both were pens imo but the pressing issue is whether the play should've been continued up to that point.

Idk what the rule is these days, but first one was offside to me. Although now apparently if it deflects of a defender it is onside? Used to be offside no?
And Karius hardly touches him, it's a fucking dive.

Lamela one was both offside and going down like a sack of shit.

The ref had a mare, the first one for the offside he just gives it regardless, you can hear him say he has no idea wether Lovren touched the ball which is the only case he could have had for giving the penalty and not the offside, so basically he's guessed. I know im biased but the second was a bit soft as well, i hate this idea that if a player is touched he has the right to go down because its bollocks, the players reaction should match the force they are touched with and Lamela went down like he'd been karate kicked in the face.

Also Alli is probably one of the worst in the league for diving, how many more times does he have to get booked for it before he's actually given a ban rather than just a yellow all the time, because yellow's obviously aren't stopping him doing it.

Don't agree with the first penalty but do think the second one was. Van Dijk boots Lamela in the back of the leg, yeah he milked it but so does every other fucker that gets kicked in the box and no one makes a big deal out of it.

Salah GOAT. Referee had a nightmare but I think Klopp should take some of the blame for sitting back the whole second half.

I think Klopp did that because we usually struggle badly against teams that sit back/park the bus.
