Was there last night, Lovren is stealing a living.

No idea how we fucking didn't win, seemed in half gear for half of it yet still should have scored 3/4.

I certainly didn't expect a 3-1 win. I know it's only one game but Aurier looked brilliant, played like he's always been there.

I don't think anyone expected that! Seemed a bit harsh on Dortmund...

So we've got Sissoko, Winks & Dier up against Kroos, Modric & Casemiro. Yes lads how could this possibly go wrong.

Not too bad so far. Just need Aurier to not tackle like a twat and you will be fine.

Well fuck me we actually got something from the Bernabeu, could've won that on another day with the chances we had. Dortmund dropping points is huge as well.

Was quite pleased for Tottenham last night (have never ever said that before), mainly due to Harry Winks getting decent game time now, a player who I've followed closely since a Southend Utd save on FM a couple of years ago.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if he keeps his place in the team when Dembele and Wanyama come back from injury. We've had a few promising midfielders come through that turned out to be not good enough (Livermore, Mason & Bentaleb) but Winks is genuinely a good player that is already offering something different to the rest of our midfielders.

Being the reigning European and Spanish champions and then getting dicked by Spurs is an interesting was of proving it mate.

Has to be the worst Real Madrid performance and attitude I've ever seen, players just didn't seem to care. Tottenham could have scored 5/6 if they had really gone for it.

Odd for him to say that in the first place, Spanish clubs winning basically every European trophy for the last few years is more than enough proof of how strong their top teams are.

Madrid seem awful at the moment though.

It was your team that fucked it up.

Delighted that we can finish first in our group. Would have been fucked had we finished second.

Thats what I was thinking until I remembered that Juventus, Bayern, Real Madrid, Roma & Napoli could all be the 2nd placed team in their groups. Don't really fancy drawing any of that lot in the first knockout round, I at least want to make the quarter final.

It's not much better but not as bad as Barcelona, PSG and Besiktas

Even though a lot can change between now and February - My predictions: Juve, City, Liverpool, Utd, Madrid, Roma (hopefully, but will be tough), Barca and Bayern to go through.

Pretty much all the favourites then, though there's bound to be one or two upsets. Madrid v PSG was an extremely tough one but if Madrid put all their eggs in the CL basket....maybe they'll nick it.

I think much the same as yourself, with two changes.

Spurs, City, Liverpool, Utd, Madrid, Barca and Bayern.

No such luck for Roma.. Really feel the away leg being first leaves them at a disadvantage to a very good side in Donetsk.

That felt weird wanting Real to win but I'm glad they did, hope they finish the job in Paris. Little fuccboi Neymar should've had a red but the ref bottled it.

Good result for us at Juve although I'm not buying into the suggestion that we're now favourites. They're more than capable of doing us 1-0 and seeing the game out.

Was surprised by Juve's approach and how poor they were on Tuesday. After going 2-0 up they could barely string two passes together, for the rest of the first half especially. And yet they had the chance to go 3-1 up right on HT....

I had Juve down as favourites as I thought they'd just have a bit too much know-how for Spurs, but after watching that on Tuesday - and the score obviously - I'm expecting Spurs to go through to be honest.

Aye bmg033, don't know how Neymar didn't get sent off, how could the ref blow for a dive and not book him....bottled it as you say. 3-1 up, Madrid should have few problems going through now.

I think the problem for Juve was that we actually got stronger after going 2-0 down and kept attacking them. They're used to battering teams at home and then cruising to victory as their opponent reluctantly accepts defeat.

What was Moses playing at for their goal, i get that he's a wingback and wants to push up but not when you're 1 up against one of the best teams in the world, get in line with the rest of the defence you dummy.

Sevilla 0-0 Utd. Should have seen that coming really.....

Disappointing for Roma to lose after leading at HT, not a surprise though unfortunately.
