Almost every team in the world is like that.

Take out messi, Ronaldo, falcao, lewandowski, Michu, Suarez etc from their team and it would completely change their seasons.

Disappointed with the first half and two soft goals, but managed to claw back into it which was good to see and probably should have got a draw. At least Sturridge grabbed another goal, even though he probably should have got another one.

Our second half performance was a massive improvement on our first half performance. Our current league position doesn't justify the progress we've made under Rodgers. The title is United's to lose now.

The game changed once Liverpool took control in midfield, Cleverly and Carrick were completely overrun. Carrick in particular is absolutely terrible when there's a bit of pressure on him, simply panics and usually gives the ball away. But Liverpool's first half was abysmal, from front to back no one could keep the ball and get any kind of control on the game and young Sterling continues in my eyes to be massively overrated.

Subs: Mannone, Jenkinson, Santos, Mertesacker, Ramsey, Coquelin, Giroud.

Diaby to last 10 mins and i'd probably rather see Jenkinson play than Sagna these days.

Aside from his finishing and final ball (big part of a forwards game I know), he was brilliant. I can see why Neville chose him.

His running caused Liverpool loads of problems, it's just a shame his finishing has been so bad this season.

Welbeck being MOTM was a bit odd. Was a poor second half from us.

Although we should have killed it off in the first half. Incredibly frustrating we were having to hold on, but a 2-1 win over Liverpool and doing the double over them I can't really complain!
